"Where are those idiots? I can hide here while they get an update from David. Where are they?" she shouted in anger. She turned left, she turned right, but no one familiar was visible. She needed to hear something about William, and that too soon.
Her mind kept wandering towards the Hall family. Did they say something to William? Did they threaten him again? Did they tell him about her, about Kimberly, that she was the real daughter? Did that cause William to have a heart attack? But the way David was treating William didn't look like he had a heart attack. There was no CPR or rushing to do an ECG. They just kept inserting medicine into his IV and hung a bottle of saline. What was wrong with William?
