The first mortals explored their surroundings in wonderment.
But lost in the new world, they had awoken.
----
The mortals fell into the water, unable to swim.
They fell into pits breaking their limbs.
They ate the fruits that poisoned them.
They approached beasts that preyed on them.
----
But they learned from those who fell; they thrived where they dwelled.
Divas meant the world to be paradise, but they did not foresee Marnaru's evil spite.
The animals were to be peaceful, but they turned feral and hunted others.
The calm sea turned hostile. The Fruits that were sweet and good turned bitter and poisonous.
The maleficent one had caused more harm than was thought. Divas hurried to heal the damage brought.
Celvar and the divas came to the mortals with a gathering of Serahim. At first, they hid from the mortals and watched afar. The mortals were fearful, for they had learned to fear the unknown and its dangers.
One of the Seraphim slowly stepped out, revealing herself. She changed her appearance to resemble them, but stood 10 feet tall. Her body was glowing and sparkled like white opal. The seraph folded her radiant wings around her shoulders like a cloak.
The mortals were in awe, but their fears were not alleviated.
But with a mellifluous tongue, she calmed the mortals.
The Seraph knelt slowly and beckoned the mortals to her, offering her hand. One mortal slowly came and touched her hand, feeling the softness and warmth of it.
The Seraph gasped, feeling the mortal's touch, which caused them to back away again. The angel cooed the mortal back again, and this time the mortal touched her hand. Felt up her arm and shoulders.
The Seraph did the same to the mortal and gestured for the mortal to sit with her. Eventually, she cuddles them close to her chest, stroking them to calmness.
The rest of the mortals came to the angel, feeling her soft, warm body and the strange, porcelain-white wings.
The other seraphim emerged one by one and joined them, and then Celvar and the Divas revealed themselves.
----
Over time, they taught them how to better survive in their world.
How to sow crops, build huts and hunt beasts.
The mortals built temples to the divas in reverence and love.
For centuries, the moulded prospered and built vast cities filled with beauty; art filled every aspect of their architecture, even the streets and homes of their people.
----
The divas and Seraphim were happy and loved walking, working and lying amongst mortals.
Celvar guided the mortals so they would never stray
While the world was not perfect, it was paradise. For centuries and many of their generations lived this way.
From the darkness of the void, Marnaru watched and waited.
