As we walk out of the bar it was then that I noticed how drunk I truly was and almost stumbled over my own feet, Kadachi is quick to catch me.
"Are you sure your ok to walk?"
As I try to compose my self I nod.
"I...I'm fine, Let's just get to the Hotel."
After arriving to the hotel I plop down onto the bed and kick my shoes off, I look up to see Kadachi taking off his jacket and shoes but as he tries to walk over to the bed he fails to see my shoes in the middle of the floor and trips right over them landing directly on top of me his lips hitting mine.
I instantly blush, A weird sensation followed that I hadn't ever experienced before. A tingling sense yet one that made me feel so relaxed and yearned for more, As if I had no cares in the world I feel my eyes close and my arms wrap around his neck. I feel him smile and deepen the kiss. His hands begin to move all over my body and I let out a soft moan.
Kadachi chuckles and leans towards my ear.
"Since it was you who made me fall, you must take responsibility for what happens."
Just then a flashback rushes back to me as I hear those words, A flashback that I don't even remember happening but am sure is true.
A man I don't recognize, his back was to me and there was blood all over him, myself and the walls. And the only words I could hear him say were.
"Now that it's done, you must take responsibility for this and mary me."
The feelings from that vivid flashback all hit me at once all of this happening in just a few seconds, I instantly sit up and place my hand over my face trying to calm myself down.
Kadachi instantly moves away and bends down in front of me placing a hand onto my hand.
"Kairi what's wrong?"
I take a slow and shakey breath trying to think of some excuse.
(Theirs no way I can talk to him about this right now, I can't even process this myself...)
Before I could come up with anything I feel a pair of strong and warm arms embrace me and suddenly all of my confusion and anxiety started to wither. As if it were my body was not into control I instinctively and ever so lightly hugged him back and let my head rest into his shoulder.
"If it was me I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you but-"
I quickly cut him off.
"N-no it wasn't you, I...I just don't feel good right now and need some rest."
Kadachi sighs and feels my forehead.
"Ok just lay down and ill be right back."
He leans in and kisses my forehead then walks out to the coorider.
I sigh a breath of relief and change into my night gown, I then crawl back into bed and close my eyes trying to process everything.
(Who was that man, why was their blood everywhere...and why do I have this feeling of...doom...none of this makes sense, I've been locked up in that house for year's but the place that memory was from was clearly outside and yet...)
I clutch the blanket and cover my face.
(The only way for this to be true is if I were in a short term coma. But when was I-)
Just then it struck me.
(3 years ago... That's when I had started to just stay quiet, and obey. I remember blurry events of my head hurting much that year and I had frequent fainting spells but the family Dr said it was just from malnourishment and stress. I must have gotten hurt and lost my memory.)
Just then I hear the door open and I hear foot steps. After had calmed down for some time I was ready to talk to Kadachi. I start to sit up but as soon as I did I gasp as I see it was Zaki smirking at me.
"Z-Zaki what are you doing here?"
Zaki scowls at me.
"We can talk about that later!"
Just as he says that he lunges towards me and I instantly try to move but he grabs a hold of my arm pulling me back towards him.
"You're not getting away that easy-"
I try to scream but he quickly covers my mouth with a weird-smelling cloth.
"Even if you scream your dear hubby won't be back for at most another hour so it's pointless!"
I try to wiggle around but he quickly subdues me.
(I don't think I can get out of this situation...Kadachi...)
I feel my body start to lose strength and my vision begins to blur.
"Good girl, go to sleep for awhile."
Just then right before I pass out I hear loud whirling and look up to see the front door swing open as a bright light is shined from behind me. I could partially see Kadachis face. It was a face I had not seen before but I could tell clearly he was here to kill. It was at that moment I fall asleep.
(Kadachi pov)
"Zaki you put her down now!"
Zaki smirks and picks Kairi up with one arm as the helicopter lights shine through the balcony doors lighting the dark room up.
"Sorry Kadachi but I'm just following orders. I am surprised you knew this was all my doing."
I grit my teeth.
"At first I didn't, but after I left here I so happen to see you but was stopped by a maid asking unnecessary questions before I could say anything. It was then that I knew something wasn't right."
Zaki shrugs.
"I should have known little tricks wouldn't work on you. I'll try better next time!"
I run my hand through my hair and look Zaki.
"Like hell I'll ever give you another chance!"
I try to lunge at them but as soon as I do I see a red circle on the back of Kairi's head and stop dead in my tracks.
"My master said dead or alive, so choose wisely."
I grit my teeth as he climbs onto the helicopter.
"This isn't over Zaki! I will kill you!"
Zaki chuckles.
"You're a businessman, not a gang member. We will be in contact soon!"
And just like that...Gone again from my life.
I quickly pick up my phone and begin calling everyone to gather more men.
(Once I get get her back...I'll kill whoever has laid a hand on her in her entire life. That's...my promise!)
(Yuki pov)
As I begin to wake up I could feel my whole body aching and a fever raging. I weakly sat up clutching my head as it started to pound, I slowly tried to get up but a familiar voice rang out in front of me.
"You should get more rest you have a big day today."
Not able to understand what he was saying I mumbled what he said back trying to comprehend.
"A...big day?"
Then Zaki came into my view as he started to walk towards me, I instantly stand up to try to fight him realizing my situation but as soon as I stood up I felt immensely dizzy and start to fall.
"Kairi?"
He catches me easily and lays me back down onto the bed feeling me head.
"You have a bad fever, I see...ill get the Dr and you get some rest in the mean time, I'll tell the servants to make you feel comfortable."
I glanced over and looked into his eyes
"Screw you."
He chuckles and begins to walk away.
"Your definitely a lot feistier then the last few times we met, I'll see you later."
And with that he walks out without another word. I sigh and sit back up looking around. I spot a balcony and get up to look out to see how far it was from the ground.
As I peer down I notice the weather was warm and not cold.
(We were not in the same country. )
I gulp at the thought of not knowing where I was.
(Even if I were able to escape there is no telling where I am, I'll have to figure out some clues before I try anything...I need to be prepared.)
With that in mind, I lay back down knowing I'd just have to endure this till I've fully recovered while closing my eyes I could feel the burning sensation between my eyelids from the raging fever.
(Kadachi must be worried right now, I hope I can get back to him soon.)
At this moment...
I'm unsure if it is the raging fever making me feel hypnotic like...
But it was as if my mind couldn't stop thinking about Kadachi, and for the moment I got to dream about him too.
