Alex needed to do 3 things before he could revive Pearl's father using his beast core.
First, he needed to introduce a Sunheart to the beast core, and infect it with the potent Yang energy.
Second, he needed to pump Life aura into that infected beast core so as to help improve its state.
And lastly, he needed to add some Azure Dragon blood into his own blood. Since his blood was what would be used to form Pearl's father's body, Alex wondered if having some Azure Dragon's bloodline would help his spirit be closer to what he used to be.
He would have to definitely do some experiments afterward to see if he was compatible in any way to help Pearl, but that would be easy. There were many paternity tests that could be done through soul alone, and this one would not be so different either.
