The fact that the matriarch of the Black Tortoise family had not only infiltrated the Fighting Island, but had also found Alex after somehow learning that he was the next Sun God was beyond something Bai Jingshen could've expected.
He tried to reason out how she could possibly figure all of that out, but not once could he understand. The eccentricity of the old woman far exceeded his own.
Alex continued explaining. "Once I figured out a way to concentrate bloodline, I needed to learn how to fix the issue with altering Pearl's soul. For that, I could think of no better location than an Ancestral Bloodline pool. So, I made a deal with her. In place of me helping her by finding a way to improve the chances of evolution for a Black Tortoise, I would be granted the chance to enter and see the process of evolution all by myself."
