Alex was slightly annoyed at having to leave the room and move into one of the other palaces that were much worse than the one they had been staying at.
It was not just a physically worse place, but also in terms of Qi. This was enough of a downgrade that Alex could tell how much Qi they were missing. The only reason he remained calm was because he knew he would be leaving here soon.
"2 more years," Alex came to the decision. "We leave for the Sun's Talon realm in 2 years."
"We are waiting that much longer?" Bai Jingshen asked in surprise. "I thought we would be leaving right away now that you were out."
"No. Scarlet and Whisker need some time before they are done cultivating themselves. Since we gave them both 10 years' time, I want to wait until all of that has passed," he said. "Besides, there are a few other things we need to do before we are ready to leave."
He turned toward Pearl.
