Minos then looked at the Succubus guard, who had been observing the trial the entire time. She held WIlliam by his forearm. Beleth noticed he was not his usual self. Was he under a spell of some sort ? He wondered.
"Connect him to the Source." The judges spoke in unison. They were a hive mind.
Lucifer and Beleth said nothing as they watch the giant orb descend from the center of the labyrinth. The light was binlding, and for a brief second a wave of pure love, unlike a love he had ever felt, washed over his aura. Beleth was snapped back to the cold, gloomy reality when the light dimmed and steadied. A metal tube that moved like a snake found its way into the hands of the succubus gaurd. She roughly grabbed William by the neck, pushed his head down and connected the small metal tubing into his spine at the base of his neck.
