Zane woke up and put in some headphones putting his feet on his bed he did fifty knuckle push-ups, Then he did fifty sit-ups then he did crunches, Then it was time for pull-ups he did fifty of those as well then he began punching and kicking his punching bag. He showered after and brushed his teeth, Then he headed to school and afterwards he headed to the dojo Sensei Lawrence seemed serious saying "From now on where gonna be doing serious training so be ready."
Over the next few days, Zane and Miguel went through intense training. Stopping baseballs shooting out of a baseball machine, escaping a choke hold, sparring with Johnny, Sparring with each other and running in mountains. The training kept going for a week. And they still had school everyday and Issy and Zane got closer and closer. He and her went to the mall along with Miguel and He convinced Miguel to get his ears pierced because he already had his pierced.
Zane also bought earrings for Miguel for when his holes finally fully opened up as well as himself he bought himself long earrings, Because he liked how they looked. Zane and Miguel were at the Dojo, Zane was laying it on the training dummy while Miguel was punching pads with sensei Lawrence "What is the second rule of the way of the fist." They both yell in unison "Strike hard." Sensei Lawrence responds "That's right. There's only one reason to hit someone. To inflict pain. Striking hard is about giving your all."
Suddenly the bell on the door jingles indicating that someone has walked in they all look towards the door seeing a girl from Zane and Miguel's school Aisha. Their sensei quickly yells out "No yoga till five. No matter how bad you need it." She walks up slowly and timidly responds "Um, I'm actually here for karate. I saw your website. It said there was supposed to be a session today." Sensei Lawrence responds quickly saying "I appreciate you coming in, but there are no girls in cobra kai." "Why not." She ask quickly. "Same reason there aren't women in the army. Doesn't make sense."
This made Zane shake his head "Sensei umm. . . Women have been allowed in the army since like 1948 sensei." he said awkwardly When Miguel quickly said "Uh yeah, Sensei, we need to show you something in the office." he said and the three off them walked into the office bowing before stepping off the mat. Zane sat in a chair next to Miguel and their sensei sat across from them on table saying "Don't give me this "sexiest" bullshit. Women just aren't meant to fight. They have tiny hollow bones." Miguel quickly interrupted their sensei saying "Aren't you desperate for ne students besides Zane?"
Their sensei responds quickly "yes, but this isn't a knitting class. This is a dojo." Miguel's shifts in his seat "Look, The kids at school call her names, make fun of her." Zane quickly interrupts the conversation "I also heard she was rich as shit." Sensei Lawrence looks at out the office window at her then he looks at Zane "Is that so." Zane smirks "Yeah heard her dad is some famous football." Johnny face contorts into a smirk as well "Lets milk her then." he says walking towards the office door.
"Ok take off your shoes. Hop on the mat." he says walking over too her getting face to face with her she does as told and he begins talking again "Ok, after further review, I've decided to allow female students. But if you wanna be in cobra kai, You can't act like a girl." She seems confused "What do you mean? How do girls act?" "Oh don't give me that. You know all emotional, loud, complain-y Never letting you finish a sentence." "Well, I know a few guys who act just - -" He quickly interrupts her yelling "Quiet!" Making her flinch and close her mouth.
Sensei Lawrence then begins pacing around "My students tell me you've been harassed at school." She replies "Yeah." sadly while lowering her head. she raises it "Mostly online. Um, I get mean texts and e-mails sent to me. Makes me not wanna go." Sensei Lawrence still pacing says "And who sends you these messages?" She answers back "Well they're mostly anonymous. These kids create fake accounts, and they tell me things like I'm ugly and that I should kill myself."
He stops pacing and looks her in the face "Oh my god. What a bunch of pussies!" She looks at him in confusion while he begins pacing again "Back in my day, if you wanted to tease someone, you did it to their face. there was honor, respect. These geeks hiding behind their computers, what a bunch of spineless losers. You're not afraid of these losers, are you?" "No." "You gonna take shit from these losers?" "No." "Good, because when I'm done with you, your gonna be sending a message back. Only it's not gonna be with your keyboard. It's gonna be with your fists." he says putting his hands up in a fighting position.
