Zane sat in the library with Miguel Eli and Demetri while Demetri was questioning Zane and Miguel about whether they were done with karate, Zane wasn't really paying all that much attention as he was texting Issy about where they would go for their first date. He had suggested a sushi place because he loved sushi and she quickly agreed he smiled t his phone before being snapped back to reality by someone leaning over his and Eli's shoulder.
He quickly got up pushing that person away saying "Bro don't be popping up behind me like I know you and shit." The kid who he pushed away laughed saying "So what if I do what are you gonna do about it." Zane's glared at the kid in anger he was wondering he the fuck this motherfucker was he also noticed a fat dude standing next to him thinking the guy was probably his lackey or sum shit.
Zane quickly composed himself saying "Come on guys lets go before I kill this dude." As the others got op from their seats the guy grabbed Eli grabbing his jaw and shoulder propping his face up. "Oh shit! What kind of girl would ever kiss this shit?" Zane seeing this had enough he wasn't bouta let that shit slide he walked over punching him in the face grabbing Eli's arm walking away with him saying "Come on I can't fight in school guys." with that the four of them left the library.
Afterwards Miguel and Zane were walking out of the school when they both her honking and some yelling out not loudly though "Miggy! Miggy!" Miguel turned around with Zane following. Miguel hopped in his moms car while Zane looked at them both through the open window. "I could give you a ride." Zane smiled at her "Thank you miss Diaz but have a ride." He looked over at Miguel saying "I think I'll call you Miggy from now on." he says finishing off with a smirk walking off.
He headed over to his Bike afterwards hopping on driving back home pulling in around the same time Miguel and his mom did. He waved to them both as did they before heading inside his home he texted Issy "Hey what time you tryna go tm?" He heard a ding instantly after "I don't really care." "Alright I'll tell you tm then." "Ok lmk." Afterwards he got up taking a shower and changing into some grey sweats along with a wife beater tank.
The next day he woke up hearing a knock on the door he got up and went to the front door answering it he was Miguel standing there smiling "The hell you smiling for so early in the morning." Miguel chuckled a little saying "My moms gonna let me train again." Zane smiled back at him when he suddenly hear his fathers voice "WHO THE HELL KNOCKIN THIS DAMN EARLY!" Zane got annoyed "IT'S MY FREIND." Afterwards he quickly yelled out again "I'M LEAVING." He said walking out the door with Miguel. He was so lazy and tired he didn't even realize he only had on a tank top and sweats along with slides.
He looks at his bike saying "You wanna ride on my bike with me." Miguel quickly responds "Hell yea." Zane hops on his bike saying "Hop on Miggy and grab the extra helmet." he says smirking Miguel sighs "Your really gonna call me that?" He said doing as he was told. Zane smirks under his helmet saying "Yes of course Miggy." he says finishing his sentence off with a laugh. afterwards they drove off towards the Dojo. When they made it it there we put the helmets on the handles, They walk in he dojo and their sensei walks out of his office looking at them when Miguel speaks "My mom says I can train again." he says out of breath with excitement.
Their sensei looks unsure saying "She did?" Miguel answers back quickly saying "Yeah. I mean if we still have the dojo." sensei Lawrence walks toward them "We do for now. But I need to know, are you two ready to take things to the next level?" They both answer with "Yes, sensei." He responds back "You got your ass kicked because you didn't have any defense, So I'm gonna teach you the best defense that you can know. And the best defense. . . Hai" he says striking his fist stopping inches from Miguel's face "Is more offense." Causing both Miguel and Zane to smirk.
