Hour One
BAAAMMM!!
The first mine exploded, ripping a warship apart.
A chain of detonations erupted across the void around Varrow, each blast triggering the next.
Hundreds of space mines awakened among the debris, their formation runes flaring in unison as the entire orbital kill zone came alive. Spatial shockwaves tore through the Scourge vanguard, crushing elven warships like paper and splitting silverwood hulls from bow to stern. Thousands of infected were hurled into the vacuum as burning wreckage scattered across the stars.
The Scourge vanguard scattered to escape the explosions, its formations breaking apart as surviving ships desperately veered away from the expanding shockwaves. But the chaos was exactly what Varrow's defenders had planned for. The evasive maneuvers pushed the surviving vessels straight into the fortress's prepared firing lanes.
"Sunbreakers!" Thrax commanded. "FIRE!!"
