Black Cat was still struggling, three of its four limbs missing, its body covered in blood, with large patches of rot, but even when faced with a challenge, it instinctively forced itself to stand on the edges of the cage, fighting with the several demons in front of it.
After a while, the hunchbacked old man came over and tapped on the cage. The two big tabby cats and the Three-eyed Dog slowly backed down. These three were also covered in blood. It wasn't that they couldn't defeat the Black Cat in front of them; in fact, any one of them could have beaten the Black Cat under these circumstances, due to its severe injuries.
However, the Demon Race values lineage and rank more than humans and has a deeper perception. So when Black Cat held its head high, it looked like nobility, looking down on the slaves who should be cowering and trembling under its paws. If it weren't for the stimulation by the hunchbacked old man, they really wouldn't want to harm Black Cat.
