His father was clearly out of his mind, and his feral appearance was absolutely terrifying.
Seeing Wayne and Luce getting covered in fresh wounds from Hayes' claws, Euphoria grew increasingly desperate.
"Get away from him!" Euphoria screamed.
Hayes shot a look at Euphoria, but his eyes were filled with pure rage; he had no intention of letting Wayne and Luce escape alive. After that brief glance at her, he threw himself back into the fight against the two men.
Xie kept Euphoria perfectly safe as he drifted calmly through the air, while Wayne and Luce down on the ground were getting battered to pieces.
Hayes swatted Wayne across the room again, sending him skidding so close he nearly crushed a nearby lion cub.
Wayne managed to drag himself back up, and Hayes charged at him once more, but Luce managed to whip his tail around Hayes to hold him back.
