The silver spaceship slowed down.
It broke through a thick, shining barrier of golden light.
The view outside the window changed instantly.
The sky was no longer the dark empty space of the universe.
It was a bright, endless golden color.
Massive floating islands drifted through the sky.
Giant mountains floated upside down.
Rivers of pure, glowing energy flowed through the air like ribbons.
"We have arrived,"
Sam said, looking out the front window.
"This is the Dragon God Realm."
Xing Tong stood next to his chair.
She looked at the massive floating islands.
"The energy here is very heavy,"
Xing Tong noted.
"It feels like gravity is pushing down on my chest. Ordinary mortals would be crushed flat just by breathing the air."
"It's designed to keep weak people out,"
Sam agreed simply.
"But it won't bother us."
Jean walked into the front room.
Sue and Lily were flying right behind her.
Little H and Little D walked in last.
"Are we there yet?"
Sue asked loudly. She looked out the window.
"Wow! Everything is gold!"
"It's a very inefficient color scheme,"
Little D said, looking at the sky.
"Too much brightness."
"Hulk wants to smash a floating mountain!"
Little H yelled, punching his tiny green fists together.
"Nobody's smashing anything yet,"
Sam said, standing up from his chair.
"We are just here to talk. We need to find the Azure Dragon's daughter."
Sam pressed a button on the control panel.
The ship slowly flew down toward the largest floating island in the center of the realm.
The island was covered in massive white buildings.
It looked like an ancient, perfect city.
The ship landed gently on a wide, smooth stone platform near the edge of the city.
The silver doors slid open.
Sam walked out first.
The air outside was thick and warm.
Jean, Xing Tong, and the children walked out behind him.
Before they could even take ten steps, a bright flash of light hit the platform.
A loud, terrible roar echoed through the sky.
The wind blew violently around them.
When the light faded, a group of tall men stood blocking their path.
They weren't humans.
They wore heavy, shining golden armor.
They had thick, sharp dragon horns growing out of their heads.
Their eyes were narrow and bright yellow.
They were the Dragon Guards.
The leader of the guards stepped forward.
He was the tallest of them all.
He had a large, cruel face.
He looked at the silver ship.
Then he looked at Sam.
His yellow eyes filled with pure disgust.
"A metal toy,"
The guard leader said. His voice sounded like grinding rocks.
"And a group of weak humans. How did trash like you manage to enter the Dragon God Realm?"
Sam stopped walking.
He kept his hands in his pockets.
He looked at the dragon guard completely calmly.
"We flew here,"
Sam answered simply.
"I am looking for someone. I just need to ask a few questions."
The other dragon guards behind the leader started to laugh.
It was a loud, mocking sound.
"A human wants to ask us questions?"
One of the guards laughed.
"He thinks this is a lower realm. He thinks he can just walk in here and talk to us."
The leader raised his hand.
The guards stopped laughing.
He looked closely at Sam.
He used his dragon senses to check Sam's power level.
"I see your core,"
The leader sneered.
"You are at the Divine Spirit Realm. In the human world, you might be a master. But here, you are nothing. Our newborn babies are stronger than a Divine Spirit."
"My power level is fine,"
Sam said, keeping his voice polite.
"I don't want to fight. I just need directions."
"You don't give orders here,"
The leader growled.
He took a heavy step toward Sam.
"We are the supreme race. We are the Dragons. We rule the Primal Chaos. Humans are just dirt under our boots."
Xing Tong narrowed her eyes.
Her red dress shifted in the wind.
"They are very arrogant,"
Xing Tong whispered to Jean.
"They only respect raw power."
"Papa, can I burn him?"
Sue asked from behind Sam. She created a small, bright fireball in her hand.
"He's being very rude."
"Can I freeze his horns off?"
Lily asked smoothly. An icicle formed in her fingers.
"No,"
Sam told the girls without looking back.
"I will handle this."
Sam looked back at the dragon leader.
"I am looking for a woman,"
Sam said clearly.
"Her name is Shen Xi. She is the daughter of the Azure Dragon. Where is she?"
The moment Sam said that name, the courtyard went dead silent.
The arrogant smiles on the dragons' faces vanished completely.
They were replaced by total, furious anger.
"You dare say her name?!"
The leader roared. His face turned dark red.
"That name is sacred! A filthy human mouth like yours isn't allowed to speak it!"
The dragon guards pulled out their weapons.
They held massive golden spears that crackled with lightning.
"You have committed a crime punishable by death,"
The leader said. He pointed his heavy spear right at Sam's chest.
"I will crush your body into powder. I will tear your soul apart for insulting our realm."
The leader released his Dragon Monarch Aura.
It was a massive, invisible weight.
It was meant to push Sam into the ground and make him beg for mercy.
The wind howled.
The stone platform cracked under the pressure.
But Sam didn't move.
He didn't blink.
He didn't even take his hands out of his pockets.
The heavy dragon aura washed over him like a light breeze.
"Is that it?"
Sam asked. His voice was completely flat.
The leader looked confused.
"Why aren't you on your knees?"
He demanded.
"My aura should have shattered your bones!"
"Your aura is weak,"
Sam said simply.
"Now, it is my turn."
Sam closed his eyes for a split second.
Deep inside his center, the golden Nascent Soul opened its eyes.
He didn't use normal profound energy.
He pulled power from the three supreme stones fused into his body.
The Space Stone. The Power Stone. The Reality Stone.
He blended them perfectly with his Nascent Soul stage.
Sam opened his eyes.
They flashed with a terrifying mix of blue, purple, and red light.
He took one single step forward.
"Kneel,"
Sam commanded.
He didn't shout.
He spoke softly.
But his words carried the weight of the absolute universe.
First, the blue light of the Space Stone activated.
The space around the dragon guards instantly locked solid.
They couldn't move their arms.
They couldn't move their spears.
They were completely trapped in invisible boxes.
"What is this?!"
The leader panicked. He tried to push forward, but the air felt like solid steel.
Next, the red light of the Reality Stone washed over them.
The dragons were the strongest physical race in the universe.
They had unbreakable scales and endless stamina.
But the Reality Stone simply changed the rules.
In an instant, their strong dragon bodies felt heavy, soft, and weak.
Their proud scales lost their shine.
Their invincible armor felt like cheap paper.
They were downgraded into fragile mortals.
Finally, the purple light of the Power Stone hit them.
A massive, overwhelming pressure crashed down from the sky.
It was a million times heavier than the Dragon Monarch Aura.
*CRACK.*
The sound of breaking bones echoed loudly across the platform.
The dragon guards screamed in absolute agony.
They were forced down instantly.
They slammed into the hard stone floor, falling directly onto their knees.
Their heavy golden spears dropped from their hands and shattered into pieces on the ground.
The pressure was so intense that they couldn't even lift their heads.
They were completely pinned to the floor, shaking in absolute terror.
The arrogant, proud dragons were now looking at the dirt.
The leader coughed up a mouthful of blood.
His yellow eyes were wide with pure fear.
He tried to look up at Sam, but the purple energy pushed his face back down against the cold stone.
"You... what are you?"
The leader gasped. He could barely breathe.
"You're not a Divine Spirit. This power... it is impossible. Are you a God Emperor?"
Sam walked forward slowly.
His boots clicked quietly on the cracked stone.
He stopped right in front of the kneeling dragon leader.
Sam looked down at him.
The blue, purple, and red light slowly faded from Sam's eyes, leaving them calm and human again.
He didn't look angry.
He just looked bored.
"I told you,"
Sam said softly.
"I just wanted to ask a few questions."
Sam reached down and grabbed the dragon leader by his golden hair.
He pulled the dragon's head up so they were looking eye to eye.
The dragon leader was trembling violently.
All his arrogance was completely gone.
He finally understood the difference between a big fish in a pond and a true monster from the deep ocean.
"I am going to ask you one more time,"
Sam said. His voice was steady and perfectly clear.
"Where is Shen Xi?"
The dragon leader swallowed hard.
Blood dripped down his chin.
"She... she is in the Forbidden Land of Samsara,"
The leader whispered in terror.
"It is... it is in the deepest part of the realm. Only the Dragon Monarch is allowed to go near it."
Sam let go of the dragon's hair.
The leader's head slammed back down against the floor.
"Thank you,"
Sam said simply.
"That wasn't so hard, was it?"
Sam turned around and looked back at his family.
Jean was smiling.
Xing Tong looked completely amazed.
"Come on,"
Sam said to them, pointing toward the center of the giant city.
"We are going to the Forbidden Land of Samsara."
