Sam stepped out of the sky.

In the next blink, he was standing inside a large, metal room.

The walls were silver and lined with bright screens.

This was his spaceship.

It hovered high above the clouds, completely invisible to the people below.

Jean was standing near the main control desk.

She wore a simple red jacket. When she saw him, she smiled warmly.

"Welcome back,"

Jean said.

"Did everything go well with the Little Demon Empress?"

"Yes,"

Sam answered.

He walked over to the screens.

"She has her throne back. Her enemies are in chains. We do not have to worry about that place anymore."

Jean looked at the large map on the screen.

It showed the vast lands of the Divine Phoenix Empire.

"We are right above their capital city now,"

Jean told him.

"Everyone is ready and waiting for your orders. Should we take the ship straight down to the palace?"

Sam crossed his arms.

He looked at the glowing map. He didn't answer right away.

He was thinking carefully about the history of this world.

"We cannot just walk in and say hello,"

Sam finally said.

"Why not?"

Jean asked.

"You are strong enough to do whatever you want."

"Because of what they want to do,"

Sam explained.

"The Divine Phoenix Empire is planning a massive war. They are preparing to invade the Blue Wind Nation."

Jean frowned.

"Why do they want to start a war? They already have the biggest empire in this world. They have the most land and the most gold."

"They are looking for something very specific,"

Sam said.

"They want the Purple Veined Divine Crystal. They believe a large amount of it is hidden deep in the Blue Wind Nation. They are willing to kill millions of innocent people just to dig it out of the ground."

Jean sighed heavily.

"Can we stop them from doing this?"

Sam smiled a little.

He walked over to a heavy metal vault in the corner of the room.

He pressed his hand against the glass scanner.

The heavy door hissed and slid open.

Inside the vault, dozens of large, purple crystals glowed brightly.

"I already took them,"

Sam told her.

"I went to Floating Cloud City before we even met the Little Demon Empress. I dug them all up and brought them here safely."

Jean walked over and looked at the glowing rocks.

"I thought you needed those crystals to help Jasmine."

A new voice spoke from the hallway.

"He didn't need them at all."

A young girl walked into the room.

She had striking red hair and wore a dark dress.

This was Jasmine.

She looked entirely human, but her body was a masterpiece of science.

"Sam built this body for me,"

Jasmine said proudly.

She held up her hand and flexed her fingers, showing off her smooth movements.

"He used Stark Technology. It is stronger and faster than any normal body. It doesn't need any divine crystals or ancient magic to work."

Jean looked at Sam with a confused face.

"So, you have the crystals. You don't need them for Jasmine anymore. Why don't we just drop them at the palace doors? If we give them exactly what they want, they will not start a war."

Sam shook his head. His eyes grew cold and serious.

"That is too easy,"

Sam said.

"Giving them a gift doesn't fix the real problem."

"What is the real problem?"

Jean asked.

"Karma,"

Sam answered simply.

"And pure greed. The Emperor's children are nasty, cruel people. They are bastards who only care about getting more power. If I give them these crystals, they will just find another excuse to start a war later. They will use the extra power to crush smaller nations and hurt more people."

Jasmine crossed her arms and nodded.

"He is absolutely right. A bad dog will always bite. You cannot just give it a bone and expect it to turn into a gentle sheep. Those princes are rotten to their cores."

"Exactly,"

Sam agreed.

"If I want to cut this karma clean, I have to rip out the bad roots. I cannot leave those princes alive. They will ruin this world eventually."

Jean leaned against the desk. She looked closely at Sam.

"So, we are going to kill the entire royal family?"

"Not all of them,"

Sam corrected her.

"There is one good person in that family. Her name is Feng Xue'er."

"Who is she?"

Jean asked.

"She is the youngest princess,"

Sam explained.

"She is pure-hearted. She has no greed in her soul. She doesn't want to hurt anyone. She actually cares about the normal people living in the empire."

Sam tapped the map of the palace on the screen.

"If we want true peace, we have to change the ruler,"

Sam stated plainly.

"We will go down there tonight. We will wipe out every single one of her corrupt, bastard siblings. We will clear the path completely so no one can challenge her."

"And then?"

Jasmine asked with a sharp, eager smile.

"And then, we put Feng Xue'er on the throne,"

Sam finished.

"We will make her the new Emperor of the Divine Phoenix Empire. With her in charge, the war will never happen. The Blue Wind Nation will be completely safe. And the karma will be totally clean."

Jean nodded slowly.

She understood his logic. It was a harsh plan, but it was the only way to ensure permanent peace for everyone.

"It will be a bloodbath inside that palace,"

Jean warned him quietly.

"Only for the wicked,"

Sam replied.

"The innocent people have nothing to fear from us."

Sam walked toward the back of the ship to prepare his things.

"Get your gear ready,"

Sam ordered.

"We are going down to the capital tonight. We have a lot of trash to clean up before the sun comes up."
