Genise perched on a large tree and watched Raviel and Haven stroll through the garden from afar. While Raviel slowly walked with Haven, who tightly held her hand, Dorothy followed closely behind them, believing herself to be hidden.
Just as Genise settled on the branch to properly observe the imperial couple, she heard a voice from below.
"Here again?"
Edwin, holding something in his hand, looked up at Genise and smiled. Then, in a flash, he jumped up onto the branch. Sitting next to her, he glanced at what she was watching and chuckled.
Raviel said something, and Haven smiled, his face visibly softened. The former Monster of the North had become a doting husband, laughing at even the simplest comments from his wife about the sun rising or the wind blowing.
