Mrs. Gladstone did not react immediately after Robert finished explaining everything.
She remained seated, her thoughts moving quickly. The more she thought about the situation, the more complicated everything felt. Kevin had cut them off from the investigation. He had the document proving Loretta had severed ties with the Gladstone family.
The only positive news for them was the possibility that someone within the Goodman family was connected to the attempt on Loretta's life.
Mrs. Gladstone slowly raised her eyes. "Leave it to me."
Robert frowned. "What do you mean?"
"I'll handle it," Mrs. Gladstone answered confidently.
"How?" Robert did not want their situation to be worse than it already was.
She reached for her phone.
"Kevin wants to silence us by using that document. Fine. Then we'll make it impossible for him to silence us."
Robert watched her carefully. "What are you planning?"
