Morning light slowly filtered through the curtains. Loretta stirred beneath the blanket, still half-asleep.
She frowned slightly.
Something warm was beneath her cheek.
She shifted closer without opening her eyes, instinctively seeking more of the warmth. Her arm moved around whatever she had found, and she settled comfortably against it and went back to sleep.
Kevin opened his eyes opened his eyes a few minutes later, judging by the ray of sun he guess he had woken up a little later than usual. His body had gotten used to sleeping four or five hours a night, this was the first time he was waking almost half an hour late. Fortunately it was a Saturday and had no early meetings or engagement
For a moment, he did not move, he thought about his decision to spend the night in Loretta's room and mused. He had no idea why he thought of doing something like that
Still deep in thought, he felt the weight against his chest.
He slowly turned his head.
