The boardroom was completely silent. The international stakeholders, chief legal advisors, and board directors sat frozen in their chairs. They looked back and forth between the two Torredo brothers in shock.
The digital clock on the wall read 10:02 AM.
Tony Torredo stood at the head of the long table, leaning forward with his palms pressed flat against the surface. A dark, smug grin stayed on his pale face as he watched everyone panic. He felt completely victorious. He had spent the last seven hours transferring the company's assets from his private laptop, and now he was holding the entire business hostage.
"Project Titan and Lawson Holdings are now fully mine, Louis," Tony whispered. His voice was smooth and cold. "I am the reason this company had those two assets. You are not going to remove me, kick me out to the sidelines and expect to keep my hardwork. Good luck rebuilding a bankrupt company without me."
