The five-Shard corrupted raptor shrieked with piercing fury as its venomous talons plunged straight toward Toby's exposed chest.
Loccy did not hesitate, nor did she adopt any conventional human fencing stance or defensive martial posture taught in the military academies of Elurus.
Her movement was pure, untamed instinct, governed entirely by the primal muscle memory of an ancient beastkin lineage whose ancestors hunted across forgotten ages.
Her leg sinews coiled like tempered steel springs, compressing physical force through her heels before unleashing with an explosive, earth-shattering leap.
Instead of crashing into the descending talons head-on, her lithe body twisted through the humid air with impossible agility, spiraling around the raptor's primary attack vector.
In that exact split second, the radiant light erupting from her earned second Wing coalesced into dense, blinding filaments of concentrated divine mana.
