"Sorry, lady, but I'm not sure you're in the right frame of mind…" Jacob almost chuckled as he replied to her, but her face was as straight as ever, almost twisting into confusion.
"I am very sane. Do not insinuate that I am not. I have simply told you the terms. You only have a few hours to think about it." She cut him off before he could finish his sentence, a single, soft finger placed on his lips. Admittedly, if it were a few months ago, he would have forgone every moral that he possessed and taken this beautiful goddess to bed, but Jacob had grown a lot since then.
First of all, women did not move him as much as they did before, having sampled many purely off of his good looks and inherent charm. Not even goddesses would be able to sway the boy once he had made a decision.
