I returned to the Empire.
The moment we got back, I started to heal everyone who had been injured.
Before anything, I treated Ethan’s broken arm, and given how strong he was paired with the fact that he was a quick healer, I knew that he would be back in action in no time.
Cheryl told me that he had broken it while trying to protect me and slapped him on the back unprovoked.
“I was handling it fine all on my own, so I don’t know why you had to come over…”
“If I didn’t intervene, it wouldn’t have been my arm breaking, it would have been you getting flung off into the air.”
“You what?”
Watching the two of them bicker made me smile.
Once I had finished treating them and making sure they were okay, I immediately made my way over to the bedroom. I was so tired that I couldn’t bear to be awake much longer.
It was Dymon who led me to the bedroom while I was half asleep.
