Watching Carly disappear in an instant, Ed smiled and stood up. He was going to look for Roderick; the bicycle should be almost finished being modified, since he hadn't seen him much lately.
Inside Roderick's research room in the castle, Ed looked at the modified Bicycle and was still somewhat dissatisfied.
But there's no other way; this is the best we can do for now. It's too complicated for Roderick to build.
" Roderick, take it outside and I'll try it out." Regardless of its appearance, Ed decided to give it a try; he wouldn't know any other issues until he rode it.
"Yes, my lord, this cart has been modified according to your last request. It is indeed a little better after the modification, but I don't think it's as convenient as a handcart. You see this part, it moves around a bit when I push it, which is a bit of a hindrance." Roderick explained some of the problems with the cart to Ed as he pushed it.
"Well, Roderick, let's talk outside first."

" Lord Ed, what are you pushing? It's so strange." Carly, who had just run out of the castle, was resting under the grape arbor when she saw Lord Ed pushing a strange cart. Unlike ox carts and handcarts that could carry things, this cart had two wheels, one in front and one behind, and no place to put anything. She wondered what it was for.
"Hehe, Carly, watch closely, once you learn this you won't need to walk anymore."
Ed smiled and slung the rabbit-skin seat over his wooden bicycle.
So, to the astonishment of the two men, Ed slowly and wobbled forward on the bicycle. Luckily, Ed knew how to ride a bicycle; although the bike was a bit unstable, it didn't fall over.
Ed felt he had to use a lot of force to pedal the bicycle, and the handlebars weren't very responsive. He felt the bicycle was barely better than walking.
Of course, this was just his opinion; Carly and Roderick, who were standing next to him, found it incredible that the car could move on its own. This was completely beyond their imagination.
"My lord... this car... it's amazing!" Roderick finally understood why his lord had told him from the beginning not to let anyone else know. His lord was truly brilliant; he had come up with something so incredible.
Ignoring their surprise, Ed stopped the car and let it lean against him.
" Roderick, this car can be made a little bigger, the steering needs to be more agile, and we need to find a way to make the footrests bigger."
"My lord… after seeing you use it like this, I immediately understand the purpose of this vehicle. I'll make a new one, and I believe it will be much better than the current one." Roderick now has a deeper understanding of this vehicle, and he feels there are many areas that need modification.
