A few days later at Worthy Estate
Count Worsis was in high spirits these past few days, extremely satisfied with his gains. Upon returning, he carefully considered the situation in the valley, analyzing how the barbarians had arrived and why they had left behind so much cargo.
The barbarians arrived by boat, but he didn't know how they got the boat. Perhaps they borrowed it or stole it, but that didn't matter.
