The stubborn Sen people in the valley continued to dig for ore with great excitement, unaware of the danger they were about to face.
As he watched the increasing amount of ore in the valley, Jiang Sen gradually calmed down from his initial excitement.
The food shortage was the first thing that reminded him that they couldn't stay any longer. They had already eaten almost half of the food they brought, and they hadn't come here to mine; they weren't well prepared.
As Jiang Sen ate the black bread that could be used as a weapon, he looked at the piles of ore that had already been erected over there, and suddenly thought of an extremely important question.
Although the black bread was hard, it wasn't very heavy, but the ores were different; they were both hard and heavy.
"Ah! Hurricane, don't eat it! Immediately find a few people to transport these ores to the boats on the lake and see how much ores one boat can carry!"
Stubborn Sen grabbed Hurricane's shoulder in frustration. He had completely forgotten something so important. This was a huge loss; they might not be able to take any of the mined ore with them.
"Stubborn Sen, what's wrong? Our ship should be able to take these ores without any problems, right?"
Hurricane picked up a piece of silver ore from the table and gently put it down. He felt that the ore was very light, and that a ship could easily carry many pieces.
"Hurry up, we don't have much time to stay here."
Stubborn Sen knew the ore was heavy; it was only light relative to a hurricane. Besides, their boat was small, and each boat needed at least two people. There was also so much ironware here; they couldn't take it all with them.
Watching the hurricane recede into the distance, Jiang Sen took out the dark, unremarkable stone from his person and placed it on the table in front of him.
"If only this stone were silver ore." Stubborn Sen planned to throw away everything they had that was useless, including those wooden weapons that were of little use.
Anyway, he left all the non-essential items here and wanted to take back as much ore and ironware as possible.
The hurricane returned shortly afterward, but his face looked rather grim, indicating that his condition was not good.
"Stubborn Sen, is there any other way?"
"There's no other way. Go and tell everyone to put all the non-essential items in one building. We'll come back for them later. Then start loading the ore onto our ship. Don't load too much; just load as much as you can. Take only a small amount of ironware, enough to make up for the wooden weapons we lost. Hurry up, and once it's loaded, we'll leave immediately."
Jiang Sen wanted to hurry back and see if he could make it back in time. Seeing all the treasures in the valley but being unable to take them away was incredibly distressing for him.
The hurricane quickly moved away.
"Stubborn Sen, everything is ready. When do we set off?" Before long, the hurricane arrived at the luxury shed again.
However, he was still not in a good mood because they could only take away less than a third of the ore they had worked so hard to mine, and only a small portion of the iron tools.
"You all leave now and wait for me on the boat. I'm going to mark the entrance to the valley."
Jiang Sen arrived at the entrance of the valley and cordoned it off with tree branches. After finishing, he started walking along the mountain path towards the lake. He also made a small mark on the way up the mountain from the lake.
That way, he can quickly determine whether anyone has been here the next time he comes.
When they arrived at the lake, everyone looked rather grim.
"Don't be sad, everyone. Didn't we take so much ore with us? This ore can be exchanged for a lot of things, much better than if we had robbed them. Now what we need to do is safely transport this ore to our tribe. Nothing else matters right now, understand?"
Stubborn Sen's words did have some effect. Seeing that the tribe members were feeling better, he jumped onto the boat as well.
"Set off."
