"In business, you sometimes have to be a little clever." Damian said, picking up a notebook and scribbling a few strokes. It was clearly a very casual movement, but what took shape on the paper was quite recognizable; Lucien could see that Damian was sketching a piece of fabric, even adding some decorative details to it.
"Do you understand these symbols?"
Lucien took a look and honestly shook his head.
"These are some of the symbols that the dyers in the workshop use to mark and take notes during the process of testing new technology and color treatments. The fabric material, the dye, the temperature, and other secondary factors will have vastly different impacts on the final product."
As Damian spoke, he drew an identical figure right next to the first one, only this time Lucien noticed that one symbol at the top had been changed. He asked out of curiosity, "What is this one?"
