The night... the night was far from over.
It was past one in the morning.
Jiang Xueli's eyes narrowed into tiny slits. She couldn't fall asleep in Lin Zhengran's arms at all, her mind racing with wild thoughts. Her smooth, tender legs shifted slightly.
Lin Zhengran kept his eyes closed. "You're still awake?"
Jiang Xueli trembled, panic in her voice. "Zhengran, you're not asleep either?!"
"What do you think?" Lin Zhengran retorted, his eyes still shut. "Your feet keep moving around. You shift every few minutes. How am I supposed to sleep?"
Her legs immediately stilled. "That's because... It's all your fault for teasing me! And then you just stopped talking."
"It's too late to argue about pointless things. What will it take for you to fall asleep?"
Jiang Xueli pressed her face against his neck. "At home, I always sleep with a pillow between my legs. If I don't have something to hold onto, I can't sleep..."
"So, you want me to lend you my leg as a pillow?"
