Damian Fairchild finished his cigarette and was about to leave when Silas Fairchild blocked his path.
Damian's expression was frigid. "What are you doing here?"
Silas Fairchild stood with one hand in his pocket, looking at him expressionlessly. "What else? I'm here to help you, you useless waste. You can't even keep a woman."
Damian's face darkened, the fury in his eyes so intense it seemed ready to erupt.
He clenched his fists, his knuckles cracking audibly.
His crimson-rimmed eyes stared at Silas Fairchild as he suppressed his rage and said coldly, "And you're not useless? Weren't you also dumped by a woman?" He paused. "Stay out of my business!"
With that, Damian Fairchild turned to leave. Silas Fairchild spoke calmly to his retreating back:
"You don't want the divorce, right? I have a way to make sure it doesn't happen. At least, it can be delayed until her child is born."
