Sixty million might have been a fair price before the massive counterfeiting scandal rocked the jade market, and you could have expected its value to appreciate. But now? It's a guaranteed loss! Seraphina Sterling was completely baffled. The jade set was rare, yes, but from both a collection and investment standpoint, it was a terrible deal! She truly couldn't understand why Terrence Grant would do such a thing!
