Chapter 100 - Chapter 99- Reception

(Jay's POV)

The sun went down, and the sky turned into a dark blue blanket. The big beach wedding from yesterday was over, but the magic was still in the air. Today was our reception day, and I could feel my heart beating fast with excitement. I stood in front of the tall mirror in our hotel room, looking at my reflection.

Yesterday, I was a traditional bride in a beautiful white pearl gown. Today, I wanted something completely different. I wanted drama, fun, and a bit of rock-and-roll magic. Keifer and I had planned our outfits together months ago. We wanted to match, but we also wanted to stand out from everyone else.

Wedding couple priorities!!

I looked at my dress. It was a crisp, black gown that fit me perfectly. It was not just plain black, though. The fabric was covered in millions of tiny, dark glitters. Every time I shifted my weight or breathed, the dress shimmered like a night sky full of stars. It was bold, it was heavy, and it made me feel like a queen. My hair was tied up in a high, sleek ponytail, and my makeup was dark and smoky to match the mood.

Just then, the bathroom door clicked open. Keifer walked out, and my breath caught in my throat. He was wearing a crisp black suit that matched my dress perfectly. The fabric of his jacket had the exact same subtle black glitter. It caught the warm lights of the room and sparkled gently. He looked incredibly handsome. His hair was pushed back, and he had a soft smile on his lips.

He stopped walking when he saw me. He stood there for a few seconds, just looking at me from head to toe. His eyes were wide, and I could see the love and admiration shining in them.

"Oh," Keifer whispered, walking closer to me. The heavy scent of his woody cologne filled the space between us. "I thought you looked like a goddess yesterday, wifey. But tonight? You look like a dream I never want to wake up from."

I felt my cheeks turn warm. Even though we were married now, his words still gave me butterflies. "You do not look too bad yourself, hubby," I teased, reaching out to fix his black collar.

"Just not too bad?" Keifer teased back. He stepped even closer, wrapping his strong arms around my waist. He pulled me against his chest, careful not to mess up my dress. "I think I look like the luckiest man alive. You are absolutely stunning, my beautiful wifey."

"We need to go," I giggled, pushing his chest gently. "Everyone is waiting for us downstairs. And remember the rule!"

We had a very strict rule for the reception party. The theme for the guests was bright and soft colors. We told everyone to wear shades of pink, blue, yellow, or purple. No one was allowed to wear black or dark grey. We wanted to make sure that nobody could overshadow us tonight. We wanted to be the two dark stars in a sea of bright colors.

Keifer kissed my forehead gently. He was being a pure gentleman, holding my hand and helping me lift the heavy skirt of my dress as we walked out of the room. He guided me down the long hallway, making sure I did not trip on my high heels.

When the big doors of the ballroom opened, a loud cheer filled the air. The sight took my breath away. The room was decorated beautifully. There were warm fairy lights hanging from the ceiling, making the whole place glow. The tables were covered in white cloths, and the centerpieces had my absolute favorite food ready for later. I could smell the hot pasta, the cheesy pizzas, and the sweet garlic bread. My mouth watered instantly. Keifer had made sure that all the arrangements were the absolute best.

He knows my first love, Obviously food!, and he had personally talked to the chefs to get everything perfect for me.

We walked into the room, and I looked around at our friends and family. Everyone looked amazing. Kiara was wearing a bright pastel yellow dress, looking like a happy sunflower. Angelo was in a soft blue suit, looking surprisingly neat. Amara was wearing a pretty pink gown. Because everyone was in soft, bright colors, Keifer and I stood out immediately. Our black glittery outfits absorbed the light and sparkled brilliantly. We looked like a match made in heaven.

Ci-n ran up to us first, a big smile on his face. "Look at the dark prince and princess! You guys look scary good. Don't worry, Mom, I didn't bring any more chaos tonight."

Angelo suddenly commented, " Blink Jay if you need help and I can get my gun."

I laughed nodding in a "no".

"Good," Keifer said, pulling me closer to his side. "Because my wife does not need a gun to scare me. Her looks can already kill."

"Oh, stop it, you flirty boy," Kiara shouted from behind Angelo, holding a small plate of appetizers already. "Save the romance for later! We want to party!"

The night moved fast and was full of joy. We sat at the main table, and Keifer acted like a true gentleman the entire time. He served the food onto my plate first, making sure I got the best pieces of chicken and the extra cheesy parts of the pasta. He poured my drink, wiped a small crumb from the corner of my lips with a napkin, and kept asking if I was comfortable. I felt so loved and taken care of.

After we finished eating the delicious food, it was time for games. Our friends dragged two wooden chairs to the center of the dance floor. They placed the chairs back-to-back.

"Alright, lovebirds!" Cin shouted into a microphone, waving her hands. "It is time for the shoe game! Sit down, please!"

Keifer and I walked over to the chairs. I sat on one, and Keifer sat on the other, so our backs were touching. I could feel the warmth of his back through my dress. Cin handed each of us one of my black glittery high heels and one of Keifer's shiny black leather shoes.

The rules of the game were simple. Cin would ask a question about our relationship. If the answer was me, we would raise my heel. If the answer was Keifer, we would raise his shoe. We could not see each other's answers because our backs were turned.

The guests gathered around us in a big circle. Their bright outfits made a colorful wall around our black chairs. Everyone was smiling, holding their drinks, and waiting to laugh.

"Question number one!" Cin screamed into the microphone, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "Who fell in love first? Mom or dad?"

Without any delay, I lifted Keifer's black shoe high into the air. At the exact same time, I felt the chair move slightly as Keifer raised his own shoe too.The crowd went wild. People cheered, clapped, and whistled. Angelo shouted, "We all knew it, Keifer! You were a goner since day one!"

Keifer laughed loudly behind me. It was true. He fell first, and I fell harder and then he fell hardest. Some researches predict that we are still falling and are not still at the floor yet!

Cin waited for the noise to die down. He looked at his cue card and mischievously smiled. "Question number two! There should be no objections to this one. Who eats more food?"

I did not even wait for him to finish the sentence. I quickly picked my glittery heel up and held it as high as I could. I knew my love for food was legendary. I heard Keifer chuckling behind me. He also raised my heel without any hesitation.

"That is a fact!" Kiara shouted, laughing so hard she almost dropped her glass. "Jay can eat a whole pizza by herself and still ask for dessert!"

I turned my head slightly and smiled, feeling proud of my big appetite. Keifer's deep chuckle warmed my heart. He loved that about me.

Then, Cin smirked. I knew a dangerous question was coming. "Question number three! Who is the more flirty one in this relationship?"

I immediately raised Keifer's shoe. He was always saying smooth lines, teasing me, and making me blush. He was a naturaly flirty. I waited to hear the crowd laugh, but instead, I heard a few gasps and giggles.

I leaned back slightly and tilted my head. I looked down out of the corner of my eye. I could see that Keifer had raised my heel. He was trying to say that I was the bigger flirt!

I turned around completely on my chair and glared at him. Keifer turned his head too, looking at me with a big, innocent smile. His eyes were bright and full of fun.I leaned close to his ear so the microphone would not catch my voice. I whispered in a sharp, teasing tone, "Keifer, you literally have a PhD in flirting. Everyone knows it. So kindly put that heel down right now, otherwise..."

Keifer did not look scared at all. Instead, a slow, wicked smirk spread across his handsome face. He leaned down toward my ear, his warm breath tickling my skin.

"Otherwise what, wifey?" he whispered back. His voice was low and smooth like hot chocolate. "Are you going to punish me?"

I bit my lip to hide my smile, but I kept my eyes serious. I whispered back into his ear, "Otherwise, you will not get any kisses from me tonight, Keifer. Not a single one. And forget Caretaker and Watcher! If I say it then I mean it..."

Keifer's eyes went wide. His smirk disappeared for a split second. He knew I meant it. Without saying another word, he quickly dropped my glittery heel down to his lap and raised his own shoe instead.

The guests saw this sudden change and began laughing loudly. They did not hear our whispers, but they saw how fast Keifer changed his mind after I spoke to him.

"Wow!" Cin laughed into the microphone. "Jay really holds the power in this marriage! Look at Dad obeying his wife like a good boy!"

Keifer just laughed and shook his head, looking at me with pure adoration. "Anything for peace, and anything for my wife," he said out loud, making everyone go "Awww."

Yeah more for Caretaker and Watcher.

After the game finished, the music turned up high. The beat of the songs shook the floor. The DJ started playing fast, fun dance music. The quiet dinner was officially over, and the real party began.

Everyone moved to the dance floor. The room became a beautiful, moving blur of pinks, blues, yellows, and purples. Our friends were jumping up and down, lifting their hands, and singing along to the lyrics. Keifer grabbed my hand and led me into the middle of the crowd.

We started dancing together. Keifer was not a professional dancer, but he moved with an easy grace. He held my waist and spun me around. My black glittery dress caught the flashing party lights, sending tiny sparks of light across the room. I felt free, happy, and so alive. We laughed as Angelo did a silly dance move, and we clapped as Kiara tried to dance while holding a piece of cake. We clapped for Baby Amara's cute little dance.

I was right in the middle of a fast song, laughing with Kiara, when I felt a strong hand wrap firmly around my wrist. The grip was tight but gentle. Before I could say anything, I felt someone pulling me backward, dragging me right out of the loud crowd.

I stumbled slightly, but the person held me steady. I turned my head around quickly to see who was stealing me away from the party. When I saw the face, my heart did a little flip. It was none other than my handsome hubby. Don't get used to it..

Keifer had a determined look on his face. He did not look at the dancing crowd. He just kept his eyes forward and led me through the side doors of the big ballroom. We walked away from the loud music, away from the flashing lights, and away from our shouting friends.

The sound of the party became softer and softer as we walked down a long, quiet hallway. This part of the resort was empty tonight. The lights were dimmed, and the only sound was the soft rustle of our clothes and the distant echo of the bass from the dance floor.

Keifer stopped in front of a big, empty hall with large glass windows that looked out into the dark ocean. The moonlight was streaming through the glass, painting the floor in silver colors. It was completely quiet and incredibly romantic.

He finally let go of my wrist, but before I could step back, he closed the distance between us. He pressed his body against mine, trapping me against the cool wall near the window.

I looked up at him, my heart racing fast. My breathing was heavy from all the dancing. "Why are we here, Mr. Watson?" I asked, my voice barely a whisper in the quiet space. "Everyone is looking for us on the dance floor."

Keifer reached up with one hand. His thumb gently brushed against my cheekbone, tracing the line of my face. His eyes were dark, intense, and filled with a burning passion that made my knees feel weak.

"Let them look," Keifer said, his voice deep and rough. He leaned down, his face just inches away from mine. "Wifey, I couldn't wait anymore. I have been watching you dance in that dress all night. Seeing you sparkle under those lights, knowing you are completely mine now... it was driving me crazy. I needed you to myself. Just for a moment."

"You are a very impatient man, Keifer," I whispered, a small smile playing on my lips. I reached up and wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling myself closer to his warmth.

"Only for you, wifey," he murmured against my lips. "Only for you."

And then, he closed the gap. He started kissing me.

It was not a soft, gentle kiss. It was a deep, passionate, and hungry kiss. It was the kind of kiss that made the rest of the world melt away completely. I forgot about the reception, I forgot about our friends, and I forgot about the loud music down the hall. There was only Keifer, his warm lips, his familiar scent, and the tight grip of his hands on my waist.

I kissed him back just as deeply, pouring all my love and passion into him. My fingers tangled in his neat hair, messing it up, but neither of us cared. We stood there in the quiet, moonlit hall, two dark stars sparkling together, completely lost in our own little world.

And the last thing I remember was that I was responding to his kisses with same passion..
