The mountain shook again.A deep rumble traveled through the ground, followed by a violent burst of heat from beneath the Forge of Flames.Lyra steadied herself.Kael immediately moved closer."Everyone all right?"Selene nodded.Rylan looked toward the sealed doors."Define all right."Aurelia ignored him.Her eyes remained fixed on the Forge."Seraphine…"She stepped forward.The massive doors opened a fraction.White fire spilled through the gap.Then a voice emerged."I told you to leave."Aurelia stopped."You've been alone in there for a year.""I chose to be.""You don't have to be anymore."A bitter laugh came from the darkness."That's what everyone says."The doors opened wider.A woman walked out.She wore black armor marked with glowing crimson lines.
