With men installed on the roof and cars flanked all along the front of the lawn, I was feeling better about the progression the FBI was making. They seemed to have some kind of plan and were in some kind of formation. I watched all the men and women in place and waited for them to break in.
"They have weapons?" I heard Ed ask his boss.
"That's what they said," the boss responded. "We have to hold off."
"No," I screeched. "We can't wait." I hustled over to them. "Roman's in there. We have to get him."
"We don't want a fire fight. We need to be careful. Protect our men and the hostages," explained Ed.
"They did ask for one thing," the boss said. "If we let Hannah in - they'll let Geoffrey and the bodyguard out."
"I'll go," I said. "They're innocent." I bobbed up on my tiptoes. "I'll be with Roman. It's fine. Let me do it," I said.
The boss looked at Ed with doubt.
"We can't do it, boss," said Ed. "She has no training. And Roman would kill me if I let his wife in."
