After Ed and Marcus left, I pulled Hannah back onto the couch, slapping her rear end in a playful way.
"What are you trying to do anyway?" I asked. "Play matchmaker?"
"Lori asked me today if anyone else was coming to the party. I hadn't even thought about her little crush on Marcus."
"You really think she has a crush on him?"
"Most definitely," she said. "And if I can use it to my advantage to help Martin, I'm going to do it."
"I just thought it was one-sided, that Marcus had a crush on Lori, not the other way around."
"Oh, I think it's a two way street," I said and Roman laughed.
We fell back into the cushions, giggling like drunks at a comedy club.
"Did you notice how Lauren and Martin were looking at each other the other night at Lori's?" she added.
"No. Lauren?" I was a little surprised. I didn't want to admit it to Hannah, but Martin wasn't Lauren's usual type.
