It was a day like any another. Numerous trains were running through the huge city of Tokyo and in one of them, 3 friends were having a chat.
"Did you two check out Pain Machine's new chapter? It was so peak!", Takeru said.
Hiroki replied, "Peak? That chapter was so ass, man. Chipo's conclusion was so rushed and out of nowhere. Extremely disappointing in my opinion."
Takeru was flustered. "You serious? Don't piss me off right now. Her conclusion was absolutely beautiful! You have to be ragebaiting, dude."
"Shut up, you apes! You manga larpers don't know real peak. My cute sister's new chapter was the real peak this week!", Kaito screamed!
"Eww.", Takeru and Hiroki both said while making disgusted faces. After an awkward silence, the 3 simultaneously busted into laughter. The other passengers were extremely annoyed with them. "God, these stupid kids are so loud.", A random old man said.
"The next station is Nippori."
"Alright, I'll get off now. See you both tomorrow.", Takeru said.
"Bye bye! Take-chan!", Hiroki and Kaito both screamed in a generic cute voice mimicking the girl Takeru had a crush on.
"Shut up, you dipshits!", Takeru said in an annoyed voice leaving the train secretly holding back his laughter.
Takeru then walked home, just like any other day. Nothing special really happened. But, he was stopped on the way by a random foreigner asking him for directions. It wasn't all that exciting though.
Takeru's parents were currently abroad for work, he didn't really know what that work was but he didn't care anyway. He was all alone living in his house right now but he was managing all right. "Goddamn it! I forgot to buy a new tube of toothpaste and I don't got any food in the fridge!" Well, maybe not. He took a quick bath, dawned a new pair of clothes and scrolled on his phone for 2 or 3 hours.
"Man... I'm getting kinda hungry. I should probably go over to grandma's."
Takeru got out of the house looking like a deflated ballon.
"Hey mom! Look at that weirdo over there!", a random kid nearby screamed. Takeru got pissed. "You're lucky, kid. I'd beat your ass if your mom wasn't right there."
He slowly waddled his way to his grandma's house hoping she had her tasty onigiri ready.
"Grandma!"
"Hey, grandson! I'm so glad you're here. I got some fresh onigiri ready for cute Takeru's belly."
Takeru suddenly had a bright smile on his face. "Thank you, Grandma! I love you so much!" After that, Takeru and his grandma, Chinami, sat down on a mat to eat the onigiri.
As Takeru was munching on the onigiri, Chinami began asking him questions about school.
"How are your studies going, sweetie?"
"They're fine, grandma. Its improved a lot from last year."
"That's good to hear. I'm so proud of you for managing so well without your parents, Takeru. You've grown up so much, dear."
"Hehe.", Takeru said knowing he wasn't actually managing all that well.
"Oh! Did you make any progress with that girl you liked? Her name was Aiko, right?", Chinami said with a cheeky smile on her face.
Takeru got flustered and started blushing. "No... not really... I'm still so nervous around her, I wish I could confess but-" Takeru suddenly stopped, not just talking but everything.
"Huh? Takeru? What's wro-"
Takeru's head widened and his mouth stretched and stretched until it could fit an entire head inside giving Takeru a monster-like form.
"What... the... hell..." Chinami was shocked and speechless looking at the monster that was her beloved grandson mere moments ago.
Chinami began screaming for help hoping someone in the neighbourhood would hear her but it was too late. In an instant, Takeru devoured Chinami's head leaving her body completely decapitated.
