Chapter 10 - Chapter 10: A New Beginning in the Last Light

The morning was calm.

The river flowed clear and slow, as if nothing had ever happened. Soft sunlight filled the sky, and the air carried a gentle warmth.

Arian stood by the riverside.

Everything around him felt normal, yet his inner world was no longer the same. Neela's absence had not left him empty—rather, it had brought a deep sense of peace.

He closed his eyes.

Memories of that last night returned.

The light, the farewell, and that final smile.

He whispered softly,

"You were right… love exists even in letting go."

Suddenly—

A familiar voice came from behind.

"You still stand alone and talk to yourself?"

Arian quickly turned around.

A girl was standing there.

She looked like Neela, but not exactly the same. Her eyes held the same depth, but now there was warmth, a pulse of real life.

Arian's heart paused for a moment.

"You…"

he said softly.

The girl smiled lightly.

"I'm not Neela… but my name is Neela too."

Arian stared in surprise.

"How…?"

he asked.

The girl looked toward the river.

"A few days ago, I came here… feeling a strange pull. It felt like I had some connection with this place."

She paused.

"And now, seeing you… I feel like I've found the answer to that pull."

Arian's eyes softened.

He understood—

Neela was gone, but her love, her presence, her impact still lived on.

In this new person, in this river, and within himself.

The girl asked,

"Do you remember someone?"

Arian smiled gently.

"Yes… and that memory teaches me how to live."

The wind blew softly.

Sunlight shimmered on the river.

Arian looked up at the sky.

"Wherever you are,"

he said in his heart,

"your story hasn't ended… it has just begun in another way."

The girl came and stood beside him.

Both of them looked at the river.

Silence—

but not an uncomfortable one.

It was calm, complete.

Within that silence, a new beginning was hidden.

Arian knew—

Some love never disappears.

Some love goes beyond time and takes a new form.

And the end of this story does not mean loss…

It means—

a new beginning in a different light.
