Chapter 1 - chapter 1

The night sky tore open with a sudden streak of light, blazing brighter than any star. It hurtled toward the forest below, crashing into the trees with a deafening explosion that shook the ground. Smoke and splintered wood filled the air. From the fiery wreckage, a figure slowly rose—tall, alien, and otherworldly. Its name was Riyu.

Riyu blinked, scanning the devastation around him.

Riyu: "I made it to Earth… Captain sent me

to gather information about this planet."

Before he could take another step, a sharp, crimson glow cut across the sky. His gaze followed it—an enormous ship, massive and ominous, descending like a predator. Riyu's instincts screamed danger. He bolted, sprinting through the ruined forest at impossible speed. Behind him, the ship unleashed a torrent of laser fire, igniting trees, sending chunks of wood flying, and reducing everything in its path to ash.

Riyu twisted and dodged with inhuman agility, but the massive ship's firepower was relentless. A single, concentrated beam hit the forest floor, triggering an explosion so massive it obliterated the entire woodland. Riyu was thrown violently, tumbling through the air, his body screaming from the impact.

Riyu: "Ugh… I need to change form… a human disguise!"

(A few days later, in the city…)

Miya yawned, rubbing her eyes as she locked the door of her small coffee shop. The streets were quiet now, the hum of neon signs her only companion. As she walked home, her boots echoing against the empty alleyways, something unusual caught her eye—a shadow, slumped and barely moving in the dark.

Her heart skipped a beat. She rushed forward.

Miya: "Are you… okay, sir?"

The figure groaned, barely conscious, his body battered and heavy. Miya's concern overrode her fear. She knelt beside him, searching for injuries. Blood stained his clothes, and bruises marred his skin—but he was alive.

With a determined grunt, she lifted him, surprisingly strong despite his weight.

Miya (thinking): "I can't just leave him here… I have to help."

Carefully, she carried him through the empty streets, unaware that the quiet of the city was only a temporary reprieve—and that Riyu's pursuers were already closing in.
