Drago
We had left Ria to sleep in the tower room, but none of us slept much. Our dragons don't do well when she's not with us. So, yeah this is a shit situation.
I plan to talk to Dr. Surenka about her therapist and psychologist referrals. We had talked about it, but it hadn't happened yet.
I love the idea of hiring a nanny for Ria, but people in town don't just want to see the girls. Ria doesn't understand that their dragons want to see her and know she's okay. They react to her and it affects people.
I wish I knew how to fix shit. I know some still stems from the agreement for the girls. As long as that's in place there won't really be peace between us.
I head to the nursery to see if Ria is still there or if she's taken the girls to breakfast already. I peek in and Ria is on the floor with the girls.
"Hey sweetheart, you ready to get everyone to breakfast?" As soon as I walk in all three girls make a beeline for me.
I chuckle and pick each one up in turn and give cuddles and kisses. I end up with Eli in my arms, and Ria hands me Mari. She picks up Desi, and we head downstairs.
Everyone is in the dining room, and when they see us they help get the girls in their high chairs.
Then Mary brings out breakfast on platters for the table, and then hands out small bowls of baby food.
"I have discovered a nanny service that is strictly non-human, I'm going to call today and find out if they have any dragons who are nannies, and we'll go from there."
She just nods and keeps feeding Desi. She's sipped on her tea and nibbled a cracker but nothing else. Her stomach must be giving her fits this morning.
After breakfast, we all help Ria get the girls settled in the nursery. Then I go to my office to make phone calls. Dr. Surenka gives me the contacts she has for a therapist and a psychologist who are both dragons. So, I call each of them and schedule for them to come here at our expense to see Ria and find out if there's any way she will work with them. If so, we can talk about possibly relocating them and setting up a practice for them here.
Both of them are extremely helpful and we make arrangements for both of them to come here and see her, then we will see what happens from there.
Then I contact the Nanny agency and find out they actually have 3 dragons that are able to be hired on as nannies, and currently none of them are on assignment, which with our birth numbers doesn't surprise me. All of them have full background checks done and that information is sent to me for review. Then I can call them about setting up interviews in person here so we can see how the girls react to them and vice versa.
I head up to the nursery to check in on how everything's going. The girls are down for a nap and Ria is sitting looking at her tablet, so she's probably reading. I clear my throat so she knows I'm here. She looks up at me and just waits.
I step into the room, "I got in contact with the nanny agency and there are 3 prospects. I am having them come here so we can see how the girls react to them, and how they deal with the girls.
"Okay", that's all she says then she goes back to looking at her tablet. I am a bit put out that I didn't get a bigger response from her, but I know she's still absolutely furious with us about yesterday. So I just chose to leave it alone.
It's been several days and the situation with Ria hasn't improved. She takes care of the girls all day, she eats at the table with us, but she has no interaction with us other than things to do with the girls. She's still sleeping in the tower room, but has said she's going to order a twin bed for the toddler room.
I already know what's about to happen, and I am not sure what to do about it, or if I even want to do anything about it if I'm honest. I haven't touched my mate in days. My dragon is getting restless, and soon either her or our dragons are going to pounce and then it'll be a whole thing. Ria hates it when she gets bitten, but it always happens if the dragons pounce on each other. Before her dragon initiated things, we didn't always know it was her dragon, but we were made aware.
The only time Ria has ever initiated anything and wholeheartedly participated in anything was when we were on vacation in Paris. When we came home and she found out about the agreement for the arranged matings of the girls to the other royal dragon families, she lost it. From that time on, she never again willingly participated in any aspect of our physical relationship as mates.
So I miss her and want to be with her and so do my brothers. We know the only way that can happen right now is if it's her dragon pulling the strings and not Ria. So, we let it happen. It's that or never touch our own mate.
Well, it happened, her dragon pounced and it was a whole night of all of us being together, but we also knew it wasn't really Ria, she was there, but not driving the bus. We still let it happen. At least I don't feel like my dragon is going to claw his way out of my skin anymore, so that's something.
We had one nanny here already. She lasted for about half an hour before it was very clear that she wasn't a good fit in any way. The woman blatantly flirted with all 4 of us. She knows we are mated to Ria, so what the fuck was she thinking?
I came to check up on Ria after she left to see if I needed to soothe any ruffled feathers about another female encroaching on her territory. I didn't, I think she actually found it amusing which was completely disheartening to me.
I wished she would get jealous over us. Then I would know she had at least some affectionate feelings for us, or hell even felt territorial. I'm sure her dragon would kill any other female who touched us, so not sure why Ria doesn't feel that at least from her.
The therapist will be here tomorrow, so now we will see if this helps in any way.
