The carnival setup has consumed my entire week, but seeing it come together in Caleb's backyard makes every sleepless night worth it. The massive bounce house stands like a colorful castle next to the carousel, while workers position the Ferris wheel against the evening sky. I don't know if Jace was serious about wanting a horse at his graduation party, but the pony rides should cover that request nicely.
Luna Elena wasn't kidding when she handed me her card and told me to have fun with the budget. This isn't just a party anymore, it's a full-scale carnival that could rival any summer festival.
