It was a glamorous night in Delhi. Kabir and Maya were attending a prestigious business event. Kabir made sure Maya stayed away from the media spotlight-he didn't want her identity revealed, fearing it might put her in danger.
Sahil and Kavya were also at the same event, but they didn't cross paths with Kabir and Maya. Without Sahil realizing, Kavya quietly slipped away. She went to her parents' house, only to find it abandoned. Panic set in-what had happened to her parents after she left? She wanted to ask the neighbors but couldn't gather the courage.
Realizing she had to leave before Sahil noticed her absence, Kavya turned to go-only to be confronted by her ex-fiancé. Enraged over the humiliation he suffered when she left him at the wedding altar, he was determined to take revenge. His men surrounded her. Kavya tried to fight back, terrified and unsure of what to do.
Just then, Sahil appeared-he had secretly followed her. He fought off the attackers, but Kavya's ex pulled out a gun and shot Sahil. Sahil collapsed. Kavya screamed and ran to him, cradling him as she broke down in tears. His bodyguards arrived just in time and captured the attackers.
Sahil was rushed to the hospital. Kavya was inconsolable. The hospital called his family. Kabir, who was nearby, reached quickly. He asked Maya to return to the hotel, but Maya, sensing something was wrong, followed him secretly.
At the hospital, Kabir found Kavya crying near Sahil's emergency ward. He comforted her. Just then, Maya arrived and saw Kabir hugging another woman. Furious and heartbroken, she slapped him. Kabir was shocked-so was Kavya. As Kabir realized Maya had misunderstood the situation, Kavya stood frozen. She recognized Maya-her long-lost sister.
Kavya tried to hug her, but Maya stopped her with a raised hand. Kavya's heart shattered. Maya started questioning Kabir, but before he could respond, his grandparents entered with his younger brothers, Manik and Arjun. Maya recognized them from newspapers and magazines. Kabir's grandparents demanded an explanation-why had Maya slapped him?
At that moment, Naina entered with a nurse, informing the family that Sahil needed a blood transfusion and a signed consent form. Naina was stunned to see Maya-and her husband Manik-standing there. Slowly, she realized Sahil was Manik's younger brother. Confused but focused, she rushed to perform the surgery.
Later, Naina came out and informed everyone that Sahil's condition was stable, but he needed rest and had to stay in the hospital for a few days. The Malhotra family, including the grandparents and brothers, was relieved. Maya, however, remained confused.
While Naina was discussing another patient's brain surgery with a doctor, Maya approached her and asked if she was going home. Naina suggested they go to the hospital-arranged flat, and Maya agreed. She also mentioned that she would leave Delhi and return to Mumbai the next day. Naina wanted to ask her why she was really there, but before she could speak, Kavya appeared.
"Sis Maya, how are you?" Kavya asked gently.
Without a word, Maya slapped her. Everyone was shocked.
Naina said, "Maya, what are you doing?"
Maya replied coldly, "You're nothing. Stay away from us."
Kavya pleaded, "Sis, please listen to me-"
But Maya turned away. Naina stood confused. Maya accused Kavya of being the reason their father died. Naina was too stunned to speak.
Kabir and Manik tried to intervene. Arjun and the grandparents were confused by the tension.
Suddenly, another voice echoed-Aisha, Naina's childhood friend and Nikhil's friend from her adoptive family. She ran up to Naina and hugged her, saying, "I missed you."
Before Naina could respond, she saw Arjun and yelled, "What is this idiot and pervert doing here?"
Arjun tried to defend himself, but Naina wasn't ready to listen. A fight broke out between Aisha and Arjun while everyone stood watching in shock.
Naina was losing her patience. Kabir tried to calm things down, but Maya interrupted and asked Naina to leave. Naina scolded Aisha for her behavior, and then she, Maya, and Aisha left the hospital together.
The remaining family members stood stunned. Kavya cried, heartbroken by Maya's rejection, and shocked to discover that Naina was also her sister.
Though Kabir was hurt by Maya's slap, he was more worried about her well-being. He comforted Kavya, assuring her everything would be okay.
Later, Kabir told his grandparents, Manik, and Arjun everything-what had happened with Maya and what Kavya had done in the past. They were shocked. Kabir's grandmother slapped him out of anger for the pain Maya had suffered.
But for now, they all agreed on one thing: focus on Sahil's recovery. The rest could wait.
