Lukas turned to look at the doors, just as a man walked in.
He moved languidly, with each step taken as if time itself had agreed to wait for him.
He wore a long coat in deep brown over dark clothes, the fabric moving around his legs as he walked across the room, and he didn't look at Lukas at all as he moved.
He was handsome. Strikingly so, and so familiar, Lukas instantly knew who he looked like.
That dark green hair, the same shade of green in his eyes, the same fine bone structure through the cheeks and jaw. Set beside Lady Morgana Le Fey, the two of them could have passed for twins.
Two attendants followed a few paces behind him.
They were women, both beautiful and dressed in clothes cut to make certain a man noticed them and kept noticing.
They moved in step with each other, hands folded under voluptuous breasts, and took up positions on either side of the dais without a word.
The man reached the throne and finally turned.
