Aria's POV
"He reported her enhanced characteristics to Reeves three weeks ago. The same day he told his pack healer." Derek's voice was very carefully neutral. "She's scheduled."
I stood very still.
The same Callum who had sat across from Lucian and looked scared and cooperative and given us names and security footage. He had watched Lucian warn him and played the role of a worried father perfectly.
Reporting back to Reeves the whole time.
"Where is Iona now?" I asked.
"I don't know. Callum said he was moving her."
"He moved her," I said. "To be collected."
Nobody said anything for a moment.
"We need to get to Clearwater," I said. "Now."
"Aria." Lucian's voice was careful. "If we move on Callum directly—"
"He reported his infant daughter to a child trafficker." I looked at him. "I'm not asking for permission, Lucian. I'm telling you what we're doing."
