Aria's POV
I stood in the elevator as the doors opened to the lobby and just breathed for a moment.
"No," Lucian said.
"I didn't say anything."
"You were about to."
I walked out of the elevator. "He knows where the children are. He can walk us to them or we spend weeks finding the facilities one by one while Nadia moves them and Viktor burns down the eastern territories and three pack alphas who bought children from a trafficker keep sitting in their compounds waiting to see if we figure it out."
"Or it's a trap."
"It might be."
"Aria—"
"Lucian." I stopped walking and turned to face him in the middle of the Silvermoon Holdings lobby, under the Ragnar family crest on the wall. "I know. I know it might be a trap. I know he's dangerous and probably lying about half of what he said." I held his gaze. "But those are real children. In a real facility somewhere. And he's offering us a shortcut."
