Synopsis
"Humans die because they are weak. Gods fall because they are arrogant. But me? I am neither human nor god. I am merely a 'Seeker' in pursuit of the truth that the world calls 'Immortality.' The year 2030... When the sky shattered and 'Parasites' turned the world into their grazing ground, everyone prayed for salvation. I picked up a weapon. What people call a 'Demon' is nothing more than a 'Path' to me. The God-Life System beating in my chest doesn't just grant me power; it reminds me that the price of emotion is always defeat. Are you prepared to witness a hero who wasn't born to save you, but to crush everything in his ascent? Because in this world, you are either the predator... or the prey."

Chapter 1 - "Chapter 1: Demon's Fall"

Stop Demon

Vikram's roar thundered across the battlefield, cutting through the chaos like a blade.

"Demon! Today is your end… you won't leave this place alive!"

His face was twisted with pure hatred, veins bulging, eyes burning with vengeance.

Gunfire echoed in the distance.

A bullet shot from Raghuvir's rifle—its sound swallowed by the deafening noise of war.

All around, hundreds of Elite Army soldiers stood their ground.

Some were wounded.

Some were trembling.

But in every single pair of eyes… there was only one thing—

Fear.

This was the nation's strongest military force.

And yet… a single man had pushed them to the edge of death and terror.

"Don't let him escape! Capture him at any cost!"

A sharp, commanding voice rang out.

It was Captain Avantika, leader of the Elite Force.

Her eyes locked onto her target.

She pulled the trigger.

BANG!

The bullet pierced straight through Aryan's leg.

A burning wave of pain surged through his body—

…but he didn't stop.

He couldn't stop.

Rain fell steadily from the sky, mixing with the blood flowing from his wounds, turning the muddy ground into a dark crimson swamp.

Avantika herself was heavily injured.

More than half of her soldiers had already died in this mission.

And on the other side…

Aryan's comrades had fallen one by one.

The few who remained could be counted on fingers.

Suddenly—

Aryan turned back.

His eyes met the battlefield one last time.

At that very moment—

Avantika pulled out a grenade… and hurled it forward.

It landed right beside Aryan's last surviving comrade.

BOOOOM!!!

A violent explosion erupted.

The shockwave hurled Aryan through the air.

His ears went numb.

Through the thick smoke, he saw it—

His comrades… torn into pieces.

Scattered like fragments of a broken world.

And yet…

He felt nothing.

No anger.

No grief.

He had lived with death for far too long.

At some point… it had become his most loyal companion.

Suddenly—

A searing pain exploded in his right arm.

His vision blurred.

His body trembled violently.

It felt as if his arm had been crushed under a truck's wheel.

Slowly… he looked down.

And for the first time—

His eyes widened in shock.

The explosion had blown his arm off.

Blood gushed out like a broken fountain.

His forehead drenched in sweat.

Even his soul trembled.

But—

Gritting his teeth—

He forced himself forward.

And ran.

He ran into the dense jungle.

This isolated island—

Once his secret base…

Now, it was about to become his grave.

Above him, helicopters roared, drowning out the sound of rain.

A sniper locked onto his target from the sky.

Like a vulture circling its prey.

The trigger was pulled.

BANG!

The bullet tore through Aryan's shoulder.

His body spun, and he crashed to the ground.

Still—

He got up.

And kept running.

Even with his strength fading…

Even with death closing in…

He ran.

Until—

He reached the edge of a cliff.

A deep, jagged abyss stretched below him.

Endless. Dark.

Death itself.

"Everyone stay back!" Avantika ordered sharply.

"This demon is cunning… and ruthless!"

The remaining soldiers surrounded him carefully, weapons aimed.

Their legs trembled.

Their hands shook.

But they couldn't retreat.

Not now.

Not after everything.

"This… this monster killed thousands of innocent people…"

One soldier whispered, his voice shaking.

"He conducted inhuman experiments… destroyed lives…"

"The entire country fears him…"

"And today… the world came together to end him…"

His breathing became unstable.

"And even then… this single man wiped out more than half of our forces…"

His instincts screamed at him to step back.

But he clenched his teeth.

"If he escapes today… the world will face destruction again…"

"Is this another trick?" someone muttered nervously.

Aryan stood there silently.

Blood dripping from his body.

Rain washing over him.

His eyes—

Calm.

Endless.

Like a silent ocean.

No pain remained.

Only a strange… empty satisfaction.

He glanced down at the abyss.

Then whispered—

"In the end… I lost."

A young soldier stepped forward, rage consuming him.

"You destroyed my family! My wife… my daughter… I'll watch you die in agony!"

Aryan didn't react.

Instead—

His 45 years of life flashed before his eyes.

A lonely… innocent childhood.

And then—

A journey into becoming the most feared, most dangerous man in the world.

A faint smile appeared on his blood-stained lips.

"I won't die… at someone else's hands."

His voice was deep. Cold.

"I will write my own death."

He looked at them all one last time.

With disdain.

"If there is life after death…"

A pause.

"I'll be reborn… as a demon again."

"These insects…" he muttered softly.

"…aren't worthy of killing me."

"Don't let him die peacefully!" Avantika shouted.

But—

It was already too late.

With a final step—

Aryan threw himself into the abyss.

And vanished into the darkness below.
