Chapter 1 - The Betrayed Hero

The sky above the Final Tower burned crimson.

Dark clouds twisted violently around the massive portal hanging above it, releasing waves of demonic energy that shook the ground itself.

This tower was the last.

Thirty years of war had led humanity to this moment.

If this tower fell, the invasion would finally end.

Standing at the entrance were the Seven Heroes of Humanity.

Among them was Vajra.

The Apostle of Shiva.

For three decades he had fought demons, cleared towers, and protected humanity

alongside his teammates.

Rishi.

Thomas.

Fred.

Maya.

Jaklin.

His closest companions.

The people he trusted the most.

Vajra looked at them and smiled faintly.

"Let's end this."

He stepped forward toward the tower.

Then Suddenly-

A sharp pain exploded through his chest.

Vajra froze.

He slowly looked down.

A lightning-covered blade had pierced straight through his heart.

Behind him stood Rishi.

His friend.

His brother in battle.

Lightning crackled around Rishi's hand.

"Sorry, Vajra," he said coldly.

Before Vajra could even react, another attack struck him.

A wave of water blades from Thomas.

Dark magic chains from Jaklin.

Illusions from Fred.

Maya's divine magic sealed his movements completely.

Vajra collapsed to one knee.

Blood filled his mouth.

His mind refused to accept what was happening.

"Why…?"

His voice trembled.

"Why are you doing this…?"

Fred laughed.

"Because you became too dangerous."

Thomas stepped forward calmly.

"With your karma and divine artifacts, we'll become unstoppable."

Vajra's vision blurred.

Then a voice echoed inside his mind.

A voice he once revered.

The voice of Shiva.

"Your existence disrupts the balance."

Vajra's eyes widened.

Even the god who had chosen him… had abandoned him.

The heroes absorbed his karma, stripping away his divine artifacts as his body collapsed to the ground.

The world slowly faded into darkness.

The Supreme Consciousness

When Vajra opened his eyes again…

He was floating in an endless white space.

No sky.

No ground.

Only silence.

In front of him stood someone familiar.

Someone he loved.

Vajra's expression darkened instantly.

"That's not your real form."

The figure smiled.

Its appearance began shifting.

Different faces.

Different people.

Different identities.

Finally it stopped.

"I am the origin of all existence."

The being spoke calmly.

"I created the gods."

"I created the demons."

"I created the worlds."

The being introduced itself as

Adiservasakti.

The Supreme Consciousness.

With a wave of its hand, images appeared before Vajra.

After his death…

The heroes still failed.

The final demon king emerged from the portal.

Humanity was slaughtered.

The gods wiped out the world and reset everything.

Vajra clenched his fists in rage.

"I'll kill them."

The Supreme Consciousness watched him silently.

"Then I shall give you another chance."

The white space shattered like glass.

Thirty Years Earlier

Vajra suddenly sat upright in bed.

His heart was pounding violently.

He looked around.

A small room.

A slow ceiling fan.

Old posters on the wall.

He knew this room.

This was his home.

Before the war.

Before the towers.

Before everything changed.

Then he heard a familiar voice.

"Vajra! Breakfast is ready!"

His mother.

Vajra froze.

In the previous timeline, his entire family had died during the first portal disaster.

But now…

They were alive.

He rushed out of the room.

His mother was placing food on the table.

Rice and mutton curry.

His father was reading the newspaper.

His little sister was complaining about school.

Tears streamed down Vajra's face.

He hugged them tightly.

This time…

He would save them.

No matter what.

The Rooftop Fight

Later that morning Vajra arrived at college.

Everything felt strange.

Peaceful.

Normal.

Things that hadn't existed in his life for thirty years.

He saw Moni, the girl he once loved.

In the previous timeline she had betrayed him.

Now he felt nothing but disgust.

Then another voice called him.

"Vajra!"

He turned.

It was Rishi.

The same friend who had stabbed him through the heart.

For a moment Vajra's killing intent almost exploded.

But he suppressed it.

Not yet.

Then the familiar voices of the college bullies echoed across the classroom.

"Look who it is. Mama's boy."

Rahul and his gang began mocking him again.

Thirty years ago Vajra had endured their abuse silently.

But today was different.

During class he wrote something on a piece of paper and flicked it at Rahul.

Rahul opened it.

His face instantly turned red with rage.

After class Rahul stormed out with his gang.

"Meet me on the rooftop if you've got the guts!"

Vajra smiled faintly.

The Rooftop

Rahul and four of his friends waited there smoking.

"Well look at that," one of them laughed.

"The coward actually came."

Rahul stepped forward angrily.

"Did you write that?".

Vajra shrugged.

"What? Didn't your mom tell you?"

Rahul charged forward and threw a punch.

Vajra tilted his head slightly.

The punch missed.

Vajra's fist shot forward.

THUD[1]

Rahul collapsed to his knees gasping for air.

"I can't believe it," Vajra sighed.

"I used to be scared of someone like you."

The other bullies rushed him.

But to Vajra everything felt slow.

Thirty years of battle instincts took over.

He dodged the chain attack and broke the attacker's arm.

He elbowed another bully in the ribs.

Two more rushed him.

He kicked one in the knee and threw the other against the wall.

Within moments all five bullies were lying on the ground groaning in pain.

Rahul staggered up and charged again with a broken bottle.

Vajra stepped forward calmly.

His fist slammed into Rahul's jaw.

Rahul collapsed instantly.

Silence filled the rooftop.

Vajra looked down at them.

"Pathetic."

The Beginning

Then suddenly...

The ground trembled.

The entire building began shaking.

Students screamed from below.

Vajra slowly turned toward the sky.

Dark clouds spiraled above the city.

A massive vortex of crimson energy appeared.

The first portal.

The moment that would begin the apocalypse.

Vajra grabbed the keys from one of the bully's motorcycles.

The engine roared to life.

As he sped toward the portal location, Vajra whispered to himself.

"This time…"

"I will control the future."

The war for humanity had begun...
