Min Kyu was your average delinquent student with scars and bandages. He did everything he should be doing as a rebel skipping class, smoking and getting into fights.
And today was like any other day with him loitering around school. The bell had already rung but he was still without a care for education.
It had all been fine and dandy until he caught a glance of a red armband of a disciplinary student, causing min kyu to curse under his breath and duck away from sight.
' one more demerit and I'm suspended shit if that happens then that old men would kick me out the house for real this time.'
He ran into an alleyway to hide, the disciplinary student hearing the sound of running looked over to see a person in uniform fleeing.
He rushed after with the clip bored in hand. Min kyu looked behind him to see a magnified face.
" fellow student, may I know your name and the class you are supposed to be in right now."
The "fellow student" ran even faster
'Why is this guy chasing me!!?'
Min Kyu can appreciate the hustle, but it's really not that deep.
Why does he need to be chasing him down like an iguana !?
Getting hotly pursued min kyu took twists and turns knowing this school like the back of his hand. He took a confident left turn…...and meet a dead end.
Min kyu gave a confident middle finger to the heavens.
There is no way he can climb the wall, it's too smooth nor can he turn back with the sounds of that guy's steps getting louder.
Trying with all his might to come up with a solution he touched the dead end muttering darkly. " maybe I can climb it ...the worst is a head inju- huh?"
Earlier he hadn't noticed a door that was attached to the side wall. It was well hidden. Someone only finding it if they had been actively looking for it.
Min kyu knew this was his ticket, his eyes lighting up, twisting the door knob he was sure it was closed so he was already taking out a hairpin to open it.

The door was strangely open, but with no time to think about it he quickly closed the door. Darkness overwhelmed his vision.
There were no lights on and he blindly searched around, even hitting his leg on something.
Clumsily fumbling around he found a switch the light turned on to show a bunch of old and trashed up items, he frowned "what the-"
A small voice came from behind him questioning. " w-who are you!" Min kyu looked down to face the source of the voice.
A little boy no older than 5.
The boy seemed to want to put up a strong front but with the stuttering and the uniform clothing that were too big on him it didn't seem intimidating at all it was rather pitiful.
Min kyu was confused, questioning why such a young child is here. " Where are your parents? Did you get lost?"
Sure Min kyu was a delinquent, but not so much that he would ignore a child.
" I-i-i don't know I live here."
Min kyu picked his ears, he couldn't have heard that right. " what."
" I live alone."
'What the fu*k'
Min kyu sweated through his clothes there is no way someone can live in this trash room, especially a child. What the hell did he stumble onto?
He looked at the little boy going down to his eye level and asked. " How long have you been living here?"
" ..I don't know i was… " the little boy counted on his hands to remember the number. " four! When I started to live here and I'm now. " he started to count again. " five!"
Min kyu gave him small claps lazily for his counting while thinking. ' Did his parents abandon him, what do I do?'
He lived in the dorms after having a fight with his parents. It was packed to the brink with people so bringing a child there is not a good idea.
On the other hand, calling the police would just be a sure way to put the kid straight into an orphanage.
" Do you go to school?"
The boy shook his head.
"Then why do you wear a uniform?"
" I found it, why you asking questions?"
Min kyu sighed every time he had an answer he got more questions but the boy doesn't seem to understand that at all, they're not on the same page or even book.
Taking note of the kid's skinniness he took out a few snacks from his bag and threw them at him, the kid had surprisingly fast reflexes catching them all while startled.
" I just need a place to hide. You can take this as compensation."
Ji woo didn't question anymore seeing the snacks he was immediately bribed.
Talking to him while the brat was stuffing his face Min Kyu learned his name is. " ji woo."
Staying for a bit he finally peeked out the door then sighed in relief, ji woo asked innocently holding his own sleeves. " Are you leaving?"
Min kyu's heart was being stabbed by arrows, he swung his backpack on one shoulder declaring. " I'm coming tomorrow. "
Ji Woo lightened up, waving goodbye "Bye Hyung!"
"Bye kid."
