Chapter 4 - BAB 4 : a great tragedy will come

Miranda, you mean? Will there be any bigger problems after this?

Miranda let out a long sigh, the shadow of her black wings dancing on the damp cave walls. It touched the pulsating surface of the Megamycete, as if listening to a whisper from within the earth.

"This world is not as simple as you imagine, Alpha," he said in a heavy tone. "Umbrella and The Connection are just greedy companies. But behind them, there is a faction that calls itself 'The Family'—a shadowy organization that has controlled the world's economy and politics for centuries. They were the ones who gave Oswell the initial capital."

Miranda looks at you with a wary look in her eyes.

"When you destroyed those handcuffs and stopped their entire electronic system, you didn't just drive away the besiegers. You have sent a signal to the whole world that there is a 'Global Level Anomaly' in this village. To them, you are no longer just a village leader... You are a threat to their world order or, worse, an asset that they should have at all costs."

Threats on the Horizon

Miranda waved her hand over the clear surface of the Megamycete, conjuring up an image absorbed from Oswell's last memory:

Anonymous Special Forces: Units that do not use logos, are equipped with armor that is able to withstand thermal and magnetic attacks (anti-your strength).

New Generation Biological Weapons: Creatures that are not created from ordinary fungi or viruses, but from pure genetic engineering specifically designed to hunt down high-powered individuals.

"They won't come with noisy helicopters," Miranda whispered. "They will come quietly. They will infiltrate your mind, into your food supply, or use people you trust."

-

Miranda's Last Offer

Miranda handed the golden liquid tube back to you.

"You have two choices, Alpha:

Use This Serum Now: Give it to Alcina, Heisenberg, and the princesses. This will stabilize their cells, making them invincible by any nerve-suppressing weapons brought by these new enemies. We are preparing for a total war.

Hide Your Strength: Return to being a full 'normal human' with Alcina and let me handle the front row. But the risk is, if I fall, this village will have no more protection."

The Night Is Getting Late

Out there, the mountain wind began to howl, as if to tell that a larger storm was moving towards your valley.

-

*I brought a serum and put it on Alcina, the child, Heisenberg quietly that night*

You move like a shadow in the silence of that majestic castle. With the dexterity and silence of an Alpha, you infiltrate the rooms of each of your family members.

First, you go to Alcina. As she slept gracefully on her giant bed, you injected the golden serum very gently. She just muttered a little, a faint smile appearing on her face as the pure essence fused with her blood, relieving the hunger for blood that had been tormenting her.

Then, you head to the princesses' room—Bela, Cassandra, and Daniela. The serum seeps into their bodies made up of a group of mutant insects, hardening their cell structure so that they are no longer fragile to temperature changes or sudden attacks.

Finally, you meet Heisenberg asleep on his desk in the factory, surrounded by the blueprints of the machine. As the serum entered his body, the normally wild magnetic buzz around him suddenly became very stable and controlled.

The Next Morning: The Perfect Transformation

As the sun begins to rise on the eastern horizon, your entire family gathers in the main hall. The atmosphere is different. No more emotional tension or annoying thirst.

Alcina came down the stairs with clear eyes. "Honey... I don't know what happened last night, but I feel... Absolutely. I don't feel that hunger anymore. I can feel the warmth of the morning sun without the slightest pain."

Heisenberg squeezed an iron pipe until it shattered into dust with just one hand, without the need to concentrate fully. "Damn, Boss! I felt like an engine that had just been replaced with gold. My strength... It's much sharper than ever."

The princesses looked happy, they could stand by the wide-open window, exposed to direct sunlight without feeling that their bodies would decompose.

A Lonely Storm Is Coming

However, in the midst of the family's happiness, Miranda enters with a very serious face. He was holding a military communication device that he had taken from the rest of Oswell's army.

"They've reached the outer border," Miranda whispered. "But they don't use helicopters. My satellite detected signs of elite intruder units. 'The Family' has sent their agents to disguise themselves as villagers returning from the city."

Suddenly, there was a knock at the castle's great gate. A man dressed as a local shouted from outside, "Help! There was an accident on the way down! We need medical help right away!"

Alcina looks at you, waiting for orders. He was stronger, more stable, and ready to fight.

-

Total Isolation: (Ignores that knock and activates the Megamycete shield around the castle. "If they're our citizens, they know the right way to enter.")

You raise your hand, giving an absolute silent gesture. With your new powers perfectly blended with Miranda's serum, you close your eyes and communicate directly with the roots of Megamycete under the castle floor.

"Ignore them," you said coldly. "If they were really our citizens, they wouldn't be screaming in such a controlled tone in the middle of an 'accident'. It was the sound frequency of a trained soldier."

Instantly, you stomp your feet on the floor. Giant black roots began to creep up from the castle's foundations, enveloping the entire marble walls and windows with an organic layer as hard as steel. Dimitrescu Castle is now transformed into an impenetrable enclosed fortress.

View from Behind the Gap

From a small gap in the balcony, Alcina and Heisenberg noticed the "residents" down there. Sure enough, when their screams were not heard, their movements changed. The man who had pretended to be limping suddenly stood up straight and took out a sophisticated communication device from behind his shirt.

"The target is not provoked," the man's voice sounded faint through the wind. "Enable the Silent Siege Protocol."

Suddenly, from behind the forest, shadowy figures appeared that moved very fast. They use cloaking technology that makes them almost invisible to the human eye. However, to the daughters whose cells have now been strengthened, their existence looks like an obvious heat disturbance.

"They're trying to climb the wall, Dad," Daniela whispered, her nails starting to lengthen, giving out a new spark of golden energy. "Can we 'greet' them?"

The Last Defensive Fortress

Your family is now standing in the hall, waiting for you. They are no longer monsters tormented by hunger, but rather protective knights who thirst for justice for their homes.

Heisenberg already holds his large hammer which is now powered by blue electricity. "Boss, give me permission to tear down the ground beneath their feet. I want to see if their advanced armor can withstand the pressure of gravity."

Alcina stands behind you, her hand touching your shoulder. "Say a word, and I will level the forest until there is no place for them to hide."

-

Your Strategic Steps

The intruders from The Family begin to install special explosives in the outer gates designed to destroy organic mutations.

Do what you want

Hearing the short order from you, a smirk appeared simultaneously on their faces. It was the command they had been waiting for the most: complete freedom without restrictions.

"Oh, my dear... you really know how to pamper us," whispered Alcina in a voice that trembled with combat passion.

Instantly, the castle exploded in a symphony of organized destruction.

1. Metal Storm Heisenberg

Without the need to move his hand, Heisenberg releases pure magnetic waves. The detonators and explosives that the intruders had just installed at the gate suddenly reversed, were pulled from the wall, and stuck to the agents' own faces. "The Family's Technology?" Heisenberg laughed madly. "It's just a children's toy for me now!" He raised his hand, and the entire stealth vehicle hidden in the forest was pulled into the air, squeezed into a giant iron ball, and then dropped right on top of the crowd of intruders.

2. The Dance of Death of the Princesses

Bela, Cassandra, and Daniela shot out of the window slit. With their new speed that was now resistant to the sun, they moved like golden lightning. Those agents didn't even have time to see what was attacking them. In an instant, the forest was filled with screams as the princesses appeared and disappeared, leaving a trail of dust and blood from enemies who couldn't even aim their weapons.

3. Lady Dimitrescu's Dominance

Alcina jumped from the highest balcony. As he landed, the ground shook violently. He no longer just uses his nails; With that golden serum, he was able to manipulate the shadows and size of his body with terrifying precision. He walked quietly amidst a shower of bullets bouncing off his now diamond-hard skin, breaking the necks of the elite agents as if they were dry twigs.

A Quiet Solution

In just under five minutes, the forest in front of the castle was quiet again. No more communication signals, no more intruder footsteps. All that remained was metal debris and a gripping silence.

Heisenberg returned to the hall while wiping the dust off his jacket. "Boring. They can't even last ten minutes."

Alcina enters gracefully, straightens her slightly messy hair, and walks straight into your arms. He kisses you gently on the cheek. "Thank you, Alpha. It feels really good to be able to fight without the thirst that interferes with concentration."

Miranda appeared from behind the shadows, looking towards the devastated forest. "The Family will take this as a declaration of total war. They won't send agents anymore. They'll send something that... isn't human."

-

Miranda is there a lot, or only 1 but very strong?

Miranda closed her eyes, her fingers touching the surface of the castle walls covered with Megamycete roots, as if she was reading vibrations from other parts of the world through the earth's neural networks.

"Not a lot, Alpha," Miranda whispered in a tone that made Heisenberg stop laughing. "The Family will not waste any more resources after seeing this massacre. They are adherents of pure efficiency."

He turned to look at you, his face looking very pale under the candlelight.

"Only one. Something they call 'The Origin'. It was a specimen they created from the pure DNA they stole from this ancient tomb underground before I was born. They have raised it in the space laboratory so that it is not affected by the Earth's atmosphere."

Miranda waved her hand, conjuring up a blurry projection of the mushroom's collective consciousness:

No Organic Weakness: The creature has no heart or a fixed brain. Its cells can regenerate faster than the fire that can burn them.

Instant Adaptation: He can mimic the strength of the opponent who touches him. If Heisenberg attacks him with a magnet, he will become a magnet. If Alcina scratches him, his skin will become harder than Alcina's nails.

Single Purpose: He was not sent to conquer the village. It is sent for only one purpose: to consume Alpha.

"He didn't come with legs or wings," Miranda continued, pointing to the night sky that had suddenly become very dark. "He is falling from the sky... like a meteor."

Just then, there was a loud whistling sound from the sky that grew larger, followed by a giant fireball that split the clouds, shooting right into the valley in front of the castle.

BOOM!!

The vibration was so strong that the crystal glasses in the castle hall shattered into pieces. In the middle of the smoldering crater below, a shadow as tall as an ordinary human but emitting an aura heavier than a mountain was standing upright. He doesn't move, he just waits.

Final Confrontation

Your family is silent. They could sense that the creatures down there were on a different level than the soldiers earlier.
