Chapter 2 - THE AWAKENING

---

Revenge of a Weak Hunter

Chapter 2: The Awakening

The room was spinning.

Hussain's body hit the floor with a dull thud.

"Hussain!"

Amina rushed toward him, panic flooding her voice. His mother dropped the spoon she was holding as it clattered against the kitchen floor.

"Honey! What happened?"

His father stood up quickly, kneeling beside him.

"Hussain! Can you hear me?"

But Hussain couldn't respond.

Inside his mind, everything had gone dark.

---

Inside the Darkness

Hussain opened his eyes slowly.

But he was no longer in his house.

He stood in an endless black space, like a sky without stars.

A voice echoed around him.

Deep.

Ancient.

Powerful.

"At last… you are awake."

Hussain turned sharply.

"Who's there?"

From the darkness, something massive moved.

Two glowing eyes appeared first.

Then a colossal shadow shaped like a god formed before him.

Its body looked like swirling darkness filled with countless floating lights.

World fragments.

Hussain felt his knees weaken.

"W-what are you?"

The being answered calmly.

"I am Azhrael."

"The one who watches worlds rise… and fall."

Hussain clenched his fists.

"Why am I here?"

The god's eyes burned brighter.

"Because you were chosen."

Suddenly a strange screen appeared in front of Hussain.

Lines of glowing text formed in the air.

Hussain stared in confusion.

"A system…?"

Azhrael's voice echoed again.

"Your world is weak."

"Hunters. Gates. Monsters."

"All of it… is only the beginning."

The floating text continued.

Hussain felt a sudden surge of power rush through his body.

It felt like lightning running through his veins.

Pain shot across his nerves.

He screamed.

---

Back in the Real World

"Hussain!"

Amina shook his shoulder desperately.

His body suddenly lifted slightly off the floor.

Golden light began leaking from his eyes.

"What is happening to him?" his mother cried.

His father stepped back in shock.

The lights in the house flickered violently.

Outside…

The sky trembled.

High above the city, the massive Gate that had appeared earlier pulsed with unstable energy.

---

Inside Hussain's Mind

Azhrael watched calmly.

"Accept the fragments."

"Grow stronger."

"And one day…"

The god's voice lowered into a whisper.

"Destroy the world that betrayed you."

Suddenly a final message appeared before Hussain.

[System Activated]

[First Fragment Available]

[Absorb?]

Hussain trembled.

Memories flashed through his mind.

His friends laughing.

The bullies mocking him.

His family smiling at dinner.

His fists clenched.

Slowly…

He reached forward.

"...Yes."

The moment he accepted, darkness exploded around him.

---

Back in the House

Hussain's eyes snapped open.

They glowed with faint gold.

His breathing was heavy.

"Hussain?" Amina whispered.

For a moment he said nothing.

Then he slowly sat up.

"I… saw something."

His father frowned.

"What do you mean?"

Hussain looked at his hands.

He could feel it now.

Power.

Small.

But real.

The weakest hunter in the world… had just changed.

And far beyond the sky…

Azhrael smiled.

"The game has begun."
