SF Chapter 195: Conan Again IV
Scarlett Johansson's House
Scarlett and a few of her friends were watching Conan's interview with Natalie Portman and Dani Harper.
"Ohhh, so this is the rejection Lindsay was talking about," Scarlett muttered, remembering Daniel mentioning that he was going to reunite with his wife.
After Natalie told the story about the marriage certificate, one of Scarlett's friends asked, "So, do you think it's all true? Not just some story they made up for marketing purposes?"
"I find that hard to believe," Johansson replied. "Portman isn't the kind of actress who'd do something like that. And if there's anyone I could imagine having a story like that at ten years old, it'd be that guy."
Sofia Coppola looked at her. "You did enjoy your time with him, Lettie," she joked.
Scarlett shrugged, not bothered by the teasing. "You can't blame me. He's kinda unique."
"Though not always in a good way," she added.
Scarlett decided to provoke him, sending him a message.
'What happened to up to 21 still being the best? Natalie's almost 23!'
A short while later, she received a reply: 'And you're 19. On average, we have 21.'
'Coincidence? I think NOT!' was his second message.
"Oh, this fucking shameless bastard," Scarlett let out a mock-offended chuckle.
Chris Evans, a friend of hers since they starred together in The Perfect Score, raised an eyebrow, "What? Can you say it?"
"He just flirted with me while including Portman in the equation," she replied.
Chris made a disbelieving face. "Well, at least you can't deny that he dreams big..."

Dani's House
A few minutes earlier, Dani was sitting on the couch also watching his own interview, with Mischa sitting between his legs, her back against his chest.
Lexi and Prudence were sitting on either side of him.
If Chris could see this, he would discover that it wasn't a big dream, but already a reality for the young writer.
Mischa made a face. "I wonder what Natalie's face would look like if she knew exactly what kind of relationship you're in, Dani." She said that, but was still resting her arm on top of his, which was wrapped around her waist.
"She'd want to join in! Three gorgeous girls and me. There's no doubt she wouldn't be able to resist," Dani replied with conviction.
"Absolutely right!" Prudence nodded in agreement.
Mischa was more than used to the duo talking delusional bullshit. She turned her head toward the only sane one.
Lexi pondered, "Natalie's an incredibly talented actress, she graduated from Harvard, and very beautiful. It would be nice to meet her."
"Oh, not you too, Lexi!" Mischa groaned, putting both hands over her face.
"I don't mean in an intimate way like us," Lexi said, unfazed.
"I can invite her to lunch, or something like that," Dani proposed. "But I told her I was in an unconventional relationship. She might connect the dots if it's only us..."
Mischa chimed in again, "I've never heard anything bad about Natalie. And she seems pretty reserved, not the gossiping type."
Dani smirked. "Want to meet her too, Mi?"
"I wouldn't say no... she seems like a nice girl."
Then Dani's phone vibrated, and he read the message, making no effort to hide it from Mischa.
"Mufasa Killer?" Mischa turned her head and looked at him weirdly after reading the nickname on the message.
"My newest friend, Scarlett Johansson - you met her at the Vanity Fair party," Dani revealed.
"Scar would've been too simple. Mufasa Killer, I thought was better," he explained the nickname.
Mischa said nonchalantly this time, "Obviously, it's another girl again."
"Oh, I made a male friend. His name's Ted. Prudence's teddy bear!" he joked.
Prudence picked up the bear, which was sitting near her. "Ted's incredible!"
"And an awesome name for a best friend! Ted!" Dani added -making little to no sense to them.
"Your best male friend being an imaginary toy with your alter ego and unrestrained jokes. Seems fair enough," Lexi commented.
The three of them stared at her with widened eyes.
"What a roast," Prudence winced, but soon burst out laughing.
Lexi picked up the toy. "I meant it as a joke," she tried to soften the blow.
Seeing that Dani was still pouting, she kissed him.
"That was mean!" he complained.
"Sorry, I'll let you do that," Lexi whispered.
Dani's expression changed immediately. "Apology accepted!"
They went back to watching Conan. After Daniel sang Beautiful Girls on the show, Lexi remarked, "Your first original song that you released had to be annoyingly catchy..."
"Don't be jealous, Lexi," Prudence teased. "He'll release Shape of You next week."
"You're okay with that, right?" Dani asked her again.
Lexi nodded. "As I told you, I love the song. Just don't reveal the degenerate origin. I'd rather the song be seen as a romantic ballad."
"Fine by me. But I'll make it clear it has nothing to do with Natalie."
Mischa made a thoughtful face. "I wonder how it'll be received."
"Lisa and the others are optimistic... but I don't know..." he said, kissing her collarbone.
Before they could start their activities, Lexi picked up the remote to turn off the television. "Oh, it's Penny's old show."
Dani turned toward the TV. "The Late Late—" He paused when he saw who was hosting.
"Don't turn it off now, Lexi," he stopped her. "Hey, it's my buddy Robin! What a surprise!" Dani exclaimed.
"Ha, you were talking about my lack of buddies, besides the ones who are at the North Pole. Look at that! I just found a way to reunite with an old one."
"She's a girl, right?" Mischa asked dryly, purely rhetorically.
But Prudence 'scolded' her. "Of course. She's a really beautiful girl, even if she's all flat there..."
"That was uncalled for," Mischa said, but soon giggled.
Dani let his thoughts wander further. "That's the kind of joke I want for Ted. But funnier," he jabbed. "Hey, I just realized Howard would be great at helping me with the Ted idea movie!"
"I wonder how the four of them are doing," he muttered.
Little did Dani know just how similar their night would be, from a certain point of view.

North Pole
The day after Daniel's interview with Conan alongside Natalie, the quartet was gathered around the newly repaired heater.
"We should never talk about what happened last night!" Howard said emphatically.
Sheldon stared at him. "Howard, there's nothing to be embarrassed about. The heat went out, so we slept together naked."
He continued without any embarrassment, "It was only to keep our core body temperatures from plummeting."
"For me, it was a bonding moment," Raj remarked, making Howard glare at him.
Meanwhile, Leonard was rethinking his life and his choices.
If Dani knew what had happened, he would laugh to himself at how similar their night had been. Four naked bodies sleeping all cuddled up together.
