Damian at the counter with the phone pressed to his ear. Kendrick beside him, his own call to Daniel finished, watching Damian's face for the shape of what was arriving.
Lena on the stool, not pretending to be elsewhere.
"Tell me," Damian said.
"I've spent the past two hours tracing the image's path," Sandra said. "The financial news site that published it this morning received it from a press contact. The press contact received it from a legal document aggregator — one of the services that monitors public court filings and flags material of potential news interest." She paused. "The image entered that aggregator from a legal submission."
Damian was very still.
"It was filed in court," he said.
