Chapter 1 - Part - 1 (The Silent Shadow of Revenge)

The story begins deep within the heart of the Amazon rainforest. For over five years, a young woman named Shishironi, now eighteen, had made this jungle her home. With no family left, she lived a solitary life in a small hut woven from palm leaves. Her only companions were not human: a parrot she affectionately named Bowaba, and a cat she called Mewmuri.

Unbeknownst to the world, Bowaba and Mewmuri possessed the supernatural ability to speak like humans. The three lived together in harmony, sharing their days and their home as a small, inseparable family.

One afternoon, as the sky grew dark and a heavy storm began to brew, the trio ventured far from their hut. Their water supply had run low, and Shishironi hoped to gather fresh fruit near a distant waterfall. The waterfall was nearly 125 kilometers away, and as they attempted to trek back, the storm broke out in full force.

When they were about 8 kilometers into their return journey, Shishironi noticed something shimmering in the mud—a white, diamond-like glow pulsing beneath the earth. Though Mewmuri knew exactly what it was, the cat said nothing, watching silently as Shishironi and Bowaba stepped toward the light. As soon as their feet touched the glowing ground, a heavy drowsiness washed over them. Within moments, they fell into a deep sleep. Mewmuri, who had planned this moment for years, stepped into the light as well.

As they slept for those four minutes, the ground began to act like quicksand, dragging them down into the depths of the earth. When Shishironi and Bowaba finally awoke, they were waist-deep in the soil with no hope of escape, sinking further into the dark unknown.

The Underground City :

When they finally broke through the earth, they found themselves in the ruins of an ancient, subterranean city. But the scene was far from a rescue. Shishironi and Bowaba were bound tightly to a massive tree with heavy iron chains, hanging upside down. Confused and terrified, Shishironi's first thought was of her friend: Where is Mewmuri? Is she safe?

Suddenly, the cavern plunged into total darkness. Then, that same diamond-like glow reappeared. From the light emerged a figure, but it was no longer a cat. It was a human woman who looked strikingly like Shishironi. On her chest, the name Mewmuri was scarred into her skin.

Bowaba find his voice first, trembling as he asked why she had done this. Shishironi could only stare, her heart breaking in silence.

Mewmuri laughed, a cold, sharp sound. "Did you truly think I was just a simple cat? I am a sorceress," she revealed. "And I am your cousin, Shishironi. Your parents murdered mine out of greed for their magic. I watched them do it while I was tied to a chair, gagged and helpless. They beheaded my parents and forced me to hold their severed heads in my lap before burning their bodies. I have lived with that agony every second for years."

She explained that although Shishironi's parents died shortly after, the debt had not been paid. Now, the price was Shishironi's life. Mewmuri offered Bowaba a choice: serve her or die. To save his own life, the bird chose to betray Shishironi.

The Final Act :

Under Mewmuri's orders, Bowaba lit a pyre directly beneath the hanging Shishironi. Mewmuri settled into a wooden chair, sipping a cold drink and playing soft, melodic music that clashed horribly with the scent of smoke.

Using her magic, Mewmuri transformed her fingernails into blades as sharp as razors. With one swift, brutal motion, she severed Shishironi's head. As the body hung suspended, the blood began to drip into the rising flames. Bowaba retrieved the head and placed it at Mewmuri's feet like a trophy.

"Finally," Mewmuri whispered, watching the fire consume what remained of her cousin. "Today, my parents are avenged."

She sat there calmly, listening to the music and finishing her drink, waiting for the body to turn to ash so she could finish her grim ritual by playing with the remains of the girl she had called a friend for five years.
