CHAPTER= 2 "THE LIBRARY DOOR"

The hallway outside the old library was unusually quiet. The lights flickered softly, and the long corridor felt colder than the rest of the school.

Imama hugged her books closer to her chest.

"Why does this place feel so creepy at night?" she whispered.

Jihan walked beside her, calm as always, his hands casually in his pockets.

"You're just noticing it now?" he said with a faint smirk. "This school has secrets everywhere."

As they walked further, Imama suddenly noticed something strange.

At the end of the corridor stood an old wooden door. It looked forgotten—covered in dust, with deep scratch marks around the handle.

"This door… I've never seen it open before," Imama said.

Jihan stepped closer, examining it.

"That's because students aren't supposed to come here."

"But it looks like someone tried to open it recently," Imama replied.

Jihan slowly pushed the door.

Creaaaaak…

The door opened with a long, eerie sound.

Inside was a small abandoned room. The air smelled old and dusty. Strange drawings covered the walls—symbols, rough sketches, and words written by someone who seemed terrified.

On a broken desk lay an old diary.

Imama carefully picked it up and opened the first page.

Her eyes widened.

"Jihan… this diary belonged to a student from years ago."

"What does it say?" Jihan asked quietly.

Imama read a line aloud.

"Students keep disappearing in this school… and the teachers pretend nothing happened."

A cold silence filled the room.

Suddenly—

BANG!

The door behind them slammed shut.

Imama jumped in fear and stepped back, but her foot slipped on the dusty floor.

Before she could fall, Jihan quickly grabbed her by the waist, pulling her toward him.

For a moment, they were standing extremely close—so close that Imama could hear his heartbeat.

His hand was still around her waist, steady and protective.

"Careful," Jihan murmured softly.

Imama's cheeks turned slightly red.

"I'm fine… thanks," she said quickly, trying not to notice how close they were.

But neither of them moved away immediately.

The room was silent again… except for the sound of the wind outside the library window.

Jihan looked back at the diary in her hands.

"Looks like we just found the first secret of this school."

Imama nodded slowly.

And deep inside, she knew one thing for sure—

This school wasn't just mysterious.

It was hiding something dangerous.
